Impacts, ranging from technological innovation to health challenges the global economy. The EU has faced industrial policy struggles, lagging behind the USA and China in its industrial competitiveness. In 2021, the EU launched a plan to revive its industrial policy through a green and digital twin transition. The key question of the presented discussion is how are Danube region countries positioning themselves in relation to current EU industrial goals of twin transition.
