Vpliv kognitivnih konstruktov na pojavljanje in obvladovanje stresa
Ker lahko na stres gledamo z več vidikov, ga posledično tudi različni strokovnjaki različno
definirajo. Stres je normalen odziv na različne situacije in življenjske dogodke, s katerimi se
posamezniki dnevno soočamo. Stres avtorji največkrat opredeljujejo kot psihološki, fiziološki
in vedenjski odgovor na posameznika, ki se poskuša prilagoditi in privajati na notranje ter
zunanje dražljaje. Stres je rezultat številnih kompleksnih dejavnikov in njihove interakcije,
kot je interakcija med stresorji in zaznavanjem stresa posameznika. Nekateri dogodki so lahko
že sami po sebi boleči, kot je npr. smrt ljubljene osebe ali neozdravljiva bolezen. Večina
stresorjev, s katerimi se posameznik sreča pa so vsakodnevne težave. Njegovo zaznavanje teh
dogodkov je odvisno predvsem od osebne zaznave teh stresorjev. Nekateri ljudje so
uspešnejši pri soočenju s stresnimi situacijami, drugi pa se nanje odzivajo z večjo stopnjo
stresa.
V magistrskem delu smo raziskali kako “vsakodnevni stres” oziroma stres, ki ne izvira iz
življenjsko ogrožajočih stresorjev, kot so soočenje s smrtjo, napad ali življenjsko ogrožajoče
bolezni vpliva na posameznika. S pomočjo kvalitativnega raziskovanjem smo ugotovili
kakšni so kognitivni dejavniki (negativne avtomatske misli, pravila in jedrna prepričanja)
posameznika v stresni situaciji in kako ti vplivajo na pojavljanje in obvladovanje stresa pri
posameznikih. Raziskali smo kako se posamezniki uspešno ali neuspešno soočajo s stresom in
kaj pri tem doživljajo.
We can review stress from several aspects, as a result different experts define it differently.
Stress is a normal response to the various situations and life events that we face daily. Stress
is often defined by the authors as a psychological, physiological and behavioral response to an
individual who seeks to adapt and adapt to internal and external stimuli. Stress is the result of
many complex factors and their interactions, such as the collaboration between stress and the
perception of an individual's stress. Some life events may be painful in themselves, such as,
for example, the death of a loved one or facing with incurable disease. But most of stressors
that an individual is confronted with are ordinary daily problems. The perception of these
events depends primarily on the personal sensitivity of these stresses. Some people are more
successful in managing with stressful situations, others respond with a greater amount of
stress
In the master's thesis, we have explored how "daily stress" or stress that does not originate
from life-threatening stressors, such as confronting with death, physical attack or a life-threatening disease, effect on an individual. Through qualitative research, we found out which
of the cognitive factors (negative automatic thoughts, rules, and core beliefs) of an individual
in a stressful situation, and how they affect the emergence and management of stress in
individuals. We have explored how individuals are successfully or unsuccessfully facing with
stress and what do they experience during this.
