Opis:POVZETEK Izhodišča: Izgorelost je eden najpogosteje preučevanih pojavov v sodobnih delovnih okoljih, zlasti v poklicih, ki vključujejo neposredno skrb za ljudi. Zdravstvene organizacije se uvrščajo med najbolj izpostavljena delovna okolja, saj se zaposleni vsakodnevno soočajo z visoko odgovornostjo, časovno stisko in čustvenimi obremenitvami. Vodje morajo prepoznavati simptome, zagotavljati podporo in ustvarjati psihološko varno in ustrezno organizirano delovno okolje. Namen raziskave je bil preučiti pristope vodenja, ki zmanjšujejo tveganje za izgorelost kadra v zdravstvu. Metode: Raziskava je temeljila na kvalitativnem pristopu in deskriptivni metodi dela. Podatke smo zbrali s polstrukturiranimi intervjuji, izvedenimi septembra 2025, z namenskim vzorcem šestih zdravstvenih delavcev z vsaj tremi leti delovnih izkušenj na področju zdravstvene nege. Vprašanja, oblikovana na podlagi strokovne literature, so zajemala vlogo medicinskih sester in klinične izzive. Teoretični del temelji na pregledu virov iz podatkovnih baz, kot so PubMed, Google Učenjak, Cobiss in knjižnica Univerze v Novem mestu. Rezultati: Vodje izgorelost najpogosteje opazijo skozi upad motivacije, spremembe v vedenju in zmanjšano učinkovitost pri delu. Kot glavne dejavnike izpostavijo preobremenjenost, pomanjkanje kadra in nejasno komunikacijo. Najpogostejši ukrepi so pogovor s sodelavci, prilagoditve delovnih obremenitev in spodbujanje strokovne pomoči. Razprava: Ugotovili smo, da lahko vodje z dostopno komunikacijo, ustrezno organizacijo dela in večjim številom zaposlenih pomembno zmanjšajo tveganje za izgorelost in izboljšajo delovno klimo. Za učinkovite in trajnostne spremembe pa so potrebni širši, sistemski organizacijski ukrepi.

Naslov:APPROACHES TO MANAGING EMPLOYEE BURNOUT IN HEALTHCARE ORGANIZATIONS
Opis:ABSTRACT Theoretical starting points : Burnout is one of the most frequently studied phenomena in modern work environments, especially in professions that involve direct care for people. Healthcare organizations are among the most exposed work environments in this regard, as employees face high levels of responsibility, time pressure, and emotional stress on a daily basis. Managers play an important role in recognizing symptoms, providing support, and creating a psychologically safe and well-organized work environment. The purpose of the study was to examine management approaches that contribute to reducing the risk of burnout among healthcare staff. Methodology: The research was based on a qualitative approach and descriptive method of work. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews conducted in September 2025 with a purposive sample of six healthcare professionals with three or more years of work experience in the field of nursing. Questions, formulated based on professional literature, covered diagnostics, treatment, pain relief, the role of nurses and clinical challenges. The theoretical part is based on a review of sources from databases such as PubMed, Google Scholar, Cobiss and the Library of the University of Novo Mesto. Results: Leaders most often recognize burnout through reduced motivation, behavioral changes and decreased performance. The main contributing factors include work overload, staffing shortages and unclear communication. The most common interventions are supportive conversations, work adjustments and encouraging employees to seek professional help. Discussion: We have found that managers can significantly reduce the risk of burnout and improve the working environment through accessible communication, appropriate work organization, and employee empowerment. However, broader organizational measures at the system level are also necessary for effective and sustainable change.
