Opis:Srčno-žilne bolezni predstavljajo enega vodilnih vzrokov obolevnosti in umrljivosti tako v svetu kot tudi v Sloveniji. Ustrezna prehrana z omejevanjem nasičenih maščob ter večjim vnosom nenasičenih maščob pomembno prispeva k preprečevanju in obvladovanju srčno-žilnih bolezni. Pomembno vlogo pri tem ima tudi medicinska sestra, ki z zdravstveno vzgojo in svetovanjem spodbuja bolnike k zdravemu načinu prehranjevanja. Raziskava temelji na deskriptivni in kavzalno neeksperimentalni metodi dela. V teoretičnem delu so bili uporabljeni primarni in sekundarni viri, pridobljeni iz strokovne in znanstvene literature. Empirični del temelji na kvantitativnem pristopu z uporabo anketnega vprašalnika. V raziskavo so bili vključeni bolniki s srčno-žilnimi obolenji. Podatki so bili zbrani s strukturiranim vprašalnikom, analizirani in predstavljeni v tabelah. Večina anketirancev se zaveda pomena zdrave prehrane, vendar priporočil ne upoštevajo dosledno. Ugotovljeno je bilo, da bolniki pogosto uživajo neustrezne vrste maščob, premalo rib ter preveč rdečega mesa in industrijsko predelane hrane. Ugotovitve raziskave potrjujejo, da je prehrana pomemben dejavnik pri obvladovanju srčno-žilnih bolezni, vendar je znanje bolnikov pogosto pomanjkljivo ali neustrezno preneseno v prakso. Raziskava izpostavlja tudi potrebo po dodatnem izobraževanju bolnikov o pomenu zdravih maščob ter zmanjšanju vnosa škodljivih maščob.

Naslov:FATS IN THE DIET OF PATIENTS WITH CARDIOVASCULAR DISESE
Opis:Cardiovascular diseases represent one of the leading causes of morbidity and mortality both worldwide and in Slovenia. An appropriate diet that limits saturated fats and increases the intake of unsaturated fats contributes significantly to the prevention and management of cardiovascular diseases. Nurses also play an important role in this regard, encouraging patients to adopt healthy dietary habits through health education and counselling. The research is based on the descriptive and causal non-experimental method of work. Primary and secondary sources obtained from professional and scientific literature were used in the theoretical part. The empirical part is based on a quantitative approach using a survey questionnaire. Patients with cardiovascular conditions were included in the study. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed and presented in tables. The majority of respondents are aware of the importance of a healthy diet; however, they do not consistently follow the recommendations. It was found that patients frequently consume unsuitable types of fats, insufficient amounts of fish, and excessive amounts of red meat and industrially processed food. The findings confirm that diet is an important factor in the management of cardiovascular diseases; however, patients' knowledge is often insufficient or inadequately translated into practice. The study also highlights the need for additional patient education on the importance of healthy fats and the reduction of harmful fat intake.
