Language: Slovenian Work type: Bachelor thesis/paper Tipology: 2.11 - Undergraduate Thesis Organization: FIZIOTERAPEVTIKA - PHYSIOTHERAPEUTICA Abstract: V diplomskem delu je predstavljena tematika respiratorne fizioterapevtske obravnave pri pacientu s covid-19 v akutni fazi bolezni. Predstavljena je nova bolezen covid-19, njen povzročitelj in širjenje, respiratorna fizioterapevtska obravnava ter uporaba in učinki le-te na izid zdravljenja pacienta s covid-19. S pregledom aktualne literature smo ugotovili, da je tematika aktualna in nova ter tako še ne povsem raziskana, ima pa potencial za raziskovanje. Obravnava pacientov s covid-19 po svetu ni enotna in se razlikuje od bolnišnice do bolnišnice. Strokovnjaki v svojih člankih prepoznavajo respiratorno fizioterapevtsko obravnavo kot pozitivno metodo dela in kot dober dodatek k zdravstveni obravnavi pacienta s pozitivnimi učinki na njegov respiratorni sistem, ni pa mogoče njene uporabe posplošiti oz. standardizirati, saj je bolezen takšne narave, da na vsakega pacienta vpliva drugače oz. ga prizadene v drugačni stopnji. Sama respiratorna fizioterapevtska obravnava na pacienta deluje celostno – tudi na ostale organske sisteme, ne le respiratornega. Pozitivno deluje tudi na mentalno zdravje pacienta. Strokovnjaki zagovarjajo čim zgodnejšo vključitev respiratornega fizioterapevta v obravnavo pacienta, saj se tako lahko izognemo hudim zapletom zaradi bolezni oz. zdravljenja in tako dosegamo dobre rezultate. Glede na potek bolezni in kužnost bolezni pri respiratorni fizioterapevtski obravnavi obstajajo določene nevarnosti, kot so: prenos okužbe, hitro spreminjanje stanja pacienta ter premalo kapacitet za nastanitev ali obravnavo pacientov. Tu nastopi multidisciplinarna obravnava pacienta s covid-19, ki je zelo pomembna za izid zdravljenja, saj ima pacient s covid-19 s pravočasno in pravilno izbranimi ukrepi različnih strokovnjakov zagotovljen najboljši možen izid zdravljenja in rehabilitacije po bolezni. Fizioterapevtska obravnava, tako splošna kot tudi respiratorna, med akutnim prebolevanjem bolezni covid-19 pozitivno vpliva na izid zdravljenja in tudi na rehabilitacijo po preboleli bolezni. Title:	The application and impact of respiratory physiotherapy on patients with Covid-19
Abstract:	The thesis presents the topic of respiratory physiotherapy in the management of patients with covid-19 in the acute phase of the disease. It presents the new disease covid-19, its causative agent and its spread; respiratory physiotherapy and its use and effects on the outcome of treatment of patients with covid-19. A review of the current literature has shown that the topic is topical and new, and thus not yet fully explored. It has potential for research. The management of covid-19 patients is not uniform worldwide and varies from hospital to hospital. In their articles, experts recognise respiratory physiotherapy as a positive method of work and as a good addition to the medical treatment of the patient with positive effects on respiratory system. However, its use cannot be generalised or standardised, as the nature of the disease is such that it affects each patient differently or to a different degree. Respiratory physiotherapy itself has a holistic effect on the patient, including other organ systems, not just the respiratory system. It also has a positive effect on the mental health of the patient. Experts advocate involving a respiratory physiotherapist as early as possible in the patient's management, as this can help to avoid serious complications from the disease or treatment and thus achieve good outcomes. Depending on the course of the disease and the infectiousness of the disease, there are certain risks in respiratory physiotherapy, such as: transmission of infection, rapid changes in the patient's condition, insufficient capacity to accommodate or treat patients. This is where the multidisciplinary management of the covid-19 patient comes into play, which is very important for the outcome of treatment. With timely and correctly selected actions by different professionals, the covid-19 patient is assured of the best possible outcome of treatment and rehabilitation after the disease. Physiotherapy treatment, both general and respiratory physiotherapy, during the acute recovery from covid-19 has a positive impact on the outcome of treatment and also on the rehabilitation after the disease
