Abstract:Temeljni element fizioterapevtske obravnave posameznika je ustrezna diagnostika. S pregledom literature smo želeli sistematično proučiti postopke fizioterapevtske diagnostike in ugotoviti vpliv sodobne diagnostike v fizioterapiji na končni rezultat fizioterapevtske rehabilitacije. V diplomski nalogi smo s pregledom literature v podatkovnih zbirkah PubMed in CINAHL našli 3283 člankov.

Title:Rehabilitation diagnostics in phyisotherapy treatment
Abstract:The fundamental element of physiotherapeutic treatment of an individual is appropriate diagnostics. The core of every new patient encounter in any type of physiotherapy is the patient examination. The aim of the physiotherapy examination is to obtain information about the patient's health condition, which can be used to plan the implementation of physiotherapy treatment using various methods. We use various methods and techniques to assess the individual. There is a full range of tests that can be performed to assess a patient's functional capacity. The aim of the thesis was to present the importance of modern diagnostics in physiotherapy for improving the physiotherapy treatment of the individual. The main goal was to determine the influence of modern physiotherapy diagnostics in the rehabilitation process. By studying the literature, we want to systematically study the procedures of physiotherapy diagnostics and find out the impact of modern diagnostics in physiotherapy on the result of physiotherapy rehabilitation. In the thesis, we found 3,283 articles in the PubMed and CINAHL databases with the help of a literature review. We have included nine of them, published since 2009, in the detailed review. It is established that the physiotherapy treatment begins with the assessment and acquisition of data about the patient and his problem. Standardized measuring tools are used, which are not always used by physical therapists. Most often they are not used due to lack of time. Measuring tools must be simple and easily accessible. The data is analyzed, and a physiotherapy plan is prepared. The plan is created in collaboration with the patient. Clinical guidelines are used in planning to promote evidence-based practice and provide an overview of procedures. A systematic approach to the process of physiotherapy treatment improves the quality of patient care. The literature agrees that in physiotherapy treatment we systematically follow the diagnostic procedures of the physiotherapy examination. Physiotherapy diagnostics affects the rehabilitation of the patient or service user. We believe that in the field of physiotherapy diagnostics, training should be organized more often among physiotherapists. It would also make sense to carry out more research in the field of physiotherapy diagnostics, especially on the impact of physiotherapy procedures on the final outcome of physiotherapy treatment. In this way, it would be possible to determine how a certain diagnostic procedure affects the evaluation and planning of physiotherapy treatment, and consequently also the rehabilitation of the patient.
