Abstract:Herniacija v ledvenem delu hrbtenice nastane kot posledica protruzije medvretenčne ploščice skozi razpoko v zunanjem krozˇnem obodu v njegovi najšibkejši točki.

Title:Comparison of the effects of conservative and surgical treatment of lumbar spine disc herniation
Abstract:Herniation in the lumbar spine is caused by protrusion of the intervertebral disc through a tear in the outer circumferential rim at its weakest point. It is typically associated with low back and/or lower limb pain, limited spinal mobility, positive tension tests and often radicular signs, which are signs of impairment of the lower motor neurons in the spinal nerves, with the possibility of dermatomal division paresis, impaired reflexes and normal or reduced muscle tone
Keywords:Lumbar disc herniation, surgical treatment, physical therapy, conservative treatment, long-term outcomes, surgical versus non-operative treatment.
