Abstract:Uvod: Magistrska naloga obravnava problem sprejemanja telemedicine med starejšimi odraslimi pri zagotavljanju osnovnih zdravstvenih storitev. Metode: Uporabili smo mešan pristop – kvantitativni in kvalitativni.

Abstract:Introduction: Master's thesis examines the issue of telemedicine adoption among older adults in accessing basic healthcare services. Methods: A mixed-method approach was used, combining quantitative and qualitative analysis. The theoretical part analyzed existing literature on telemedicine and technology acceptance among older adults. The research included a retrospective analysis of secondary data from the SHARE survey and 10 semi-structured interviews with adults over 75 years. Results: It was found that most older adults are not familiar with telemedicine, while those who use it cite easier access to doctors as a key benefit. Concerns about data security and a lack of knowledge about technology are major barriers to broader adoption. Disscusion and conclusion: The results show that the adoption of telemedicine among older adults is low, mainly due to a lack of information, complicated usage, and a lack of trust in new services.
