Abstract:Diplomska naloga obravnava plazmo in njeno uporabo pri modifikaciji polimernih površin. Na začetku so predstavljeni osnovni koncepti plazme, njeno generiranje in razvrstitev. Sledi podrobna razlaga o tehnikah obdelave površin s plazmo, vključno s čiščenjem, aktivacijo in polimerizacijo. Poudarek naloge je na uporabi plazme pri lepljenju, kjer so raziskane različne vrste lepljenja, njihova učinkovitost in vpliv na kakovost povezav. Praktični del naloge obravnava postopek lepljenja v proizvodnji, vključno s postavitvijo robotske celice in delovanjem plazemskega sistema. Analizirani so tudi ekonomski vidiki, ki vključujejo stroške investicije, prihranke in ekološke prednosti uporabe plazemske tehnologije. Rezultati raziskave nudijo vpogled v upravičenost investicije in učinkovitost obdelave površin s plazmo, kar lahko pomembno prispeva k optimizaciji proizvodnih procesov in izboljšanju končnih produktov.

Title:Plasma surface treatment
Abstract:The diploma thesis deals with plasma and its use in the modification of polymer surfaces. At the beginning, the basic concepts of plasma, its generation, and classification are presented. This is followed by a detailed explanation of plasma treatment techniques for surfaces, including cleaning, activation, and polymerization. The focus of the assignment is on the use of plasma in bonding, examining different types of bonding, their effectiveness, and their influence on the quality of the bonds. The practical part of the thesis deals with the bonding process in production, including the setup of the robotic cell and the operation of the plasma system. The economic aspects will also be analyzed, including the investment costs, savings, and environmental benefits of using plasma technology. The results of the study shed light on the justification of the investment and the effectiveness of surface treatment with plasma, which can contribute significantly to the optimization of production processes and the improvement of end products.
Keywords:plasma, plasma technology, modification of polymer surfaces, gluing, adhesive-sealant mass, robotic cell
