Title:Človekovo dostojanstvo invalidov

Abstract:Magistrska naloga obravnava človekovo dostojanstvo delovnih invalidov v Invalidskem podjetju Pošte Slovenije (IPPS), s posebnim poudarkom na njihovem doživljanju spoštovanja in samospoštovanja znotraj delovnega okolja. S kvalitativno raziskovalno metodo, ki je vključevala intervjuje z zaposlenimi invalidi, smo raziskali njihove izkušnje in razumevanje človekovega dostojanstva. Raziskava se je osredotočila na tri ključna vprašanja: kako delovni invalidi opredeljujejo in razumejo človekovo dostojanstvo, kako doživljajo svoje spoštovanje in samospoštovanje pri delu ter kako lahko podjetje IPPS izboljša delovne pogoje za invalide v kontekstu dostojanstva. Ugotovitve kažejo, da delovni invalidi razumejo dostojanstvo kot temeljno pravico, ki se izraža skozi enakopravno obravnavo, spoštovanje in priznavanje njihove vrednosti in prispevka na delovnem mestu. Intervjuvanci so poudarili, da ustrezne prilagoditve delovnega okolja, kot so ergonomski pripomočki in prilagojeni delovni časi, pomembno prispevajo k njihovemu občutku vrednosti in vključevanja v delovni proces. Prav tako so ključni proaktivna podpora vodstva in pozitivni odnosi s sodelavci, ki povečujejo občutek spoštovanja in samospoštovanja med zaposlenimi invalidi. Naloga ugotavlja, da lahko podjetje IPPS izboljša delovne pogoje za invalide z nadaljnjim razvojem prilagoditev, rednimi izobraževanji o pravicah in potrebah invalidov ter vzpostavitvijo mehanizmov za povratne informacije. Inkluzivna kultura, ki razume potrebe invalidov, ne izboljša le njihove dobrobiti, temveč tudi povečuje učinkovitost podjetja in njegov pozitiven družbeni vpliv. V zaključku naloga poudarja, da spoštovanje in priznavanje prispevka invalidov na delovnem mestu nista le moralni obvezi, temveč pomembna dejavnika za ustvarjanje vključujočega delovnega okolja, ki temelji na enakopravnosti, spoštovanju in aktivni podpori invalidom ter prispeva k družbeni pravičnosti in večji učinkovitosti podjetja.

Title:Human Dignitiy of Persons with Disabilities
Abstract:This master's thesis addresses the topic of human dignity among persons with disabilities (PwDs) employed at IPPS, a disability-friendly company established by Pošta Slovenije (Post of Slovenija). Our research placed special focus on their experience of respect and self-esteem within the work environment. We used the qualitative research method, which included interviews with individuals with disabilities, to explore their experiences and comprehension of human dignity. The research poses three key questions: How do employed PwDs define and understand human dignity? How do they experience their respect and self-esteem at work? And how can IPPS improve working conditions for PwDs within the context of dignity? The findings show that employed PwDs comprehend dignity as a fundamental right, expressed through equal treatment, respect and recognition of their value and contribution in the workplace. The interviewees stressed that appropriate adaptations to the work environment, such as ergonomic aids and adapted working hours, significantly contribute to their sense of value and inclusion in the work process. Other key factors include proactive leadership support and positive relationships with colleagues, which enhance a sense of respect and self-esteem among PwDs. According to the research, IPPS can improve working conditions for PwDs through further development of adaptations, regular education on the rights and needs of PwDs, and setting up mechanisms for feedback. Such an inclusive culture which understands the needs of PwDs will certainly improve their well-being and at the same time boost the company's efficiency and its positive social impact. In conclusion, the thesis emphasises that respect and recognition of the contribution of PwDs at the workplace is not only a moral obligation but also an important factor in creating an inclusive work environment based on equality, respect and active support for PwDs, thus contributing to social justice and the company's increased efficiency.
