Abstract:Konstrukcijski elementi so ključni za prenos moči in gibanja v strojništvu, pri čemer se pogosto izdelujejo iz kovin z zahtevnimi in dragimi postopki. Aditivna proizvodna s tehnologijo nanašanja staljenega materiala omogoča izdelavo kompleksnih polimernih in kompozitnih oblik, vendar ostajajo odprta vprašanja glede njihovih mehanskih lastnosti in vzdržljivosti. Ta naloga preučuje možnosti in omejitve izdelave polimernih in kompozitnih zobnikov s to tehnologijo. Cilj je bil razviti CAD model, natisniti prototipe in oceniti njihove mehanske lastnosti. Študija analizira trdnost, odpornost proti obrabi, prenos navora in deformacijo pod obremenitvijo. Eksperimentalni testi s posebej zasnovano preizkusno napravo omogočajo merjenje navora in obrabe. Rezultati prispevajo k optimizaciji izdelave polimernih zobnikov za zanesljivo industrijsko uporabo.

Title:Production of prototypes of polymeric and composite structural elements using modern 3d technologies and fdm technology of additive manufacturing
Abstract:Structural components are fundamental to power transmission and motion in mechanical engineering, traditionally manufactured from metals using complex and costly processes. Additive manufacturing, particularly the fused deposition modelling (FDM) technique, enables the fabrication of intricate polymeric and composite structures; however, concerns regarding their mechanical properties and long-term durability persist. This study investigates the feasibility and limitations of producing polymer and composite gears using this technology. The objective was to develop a CAD model, fabricate prototypes, and evaluate their mechanical performance. The research encompasses and analysis of strength, wear resistance, torque transmission efficiency, and deformation under load. Experimental testing, conducted using a custom-designed test rig, facilitates precise torque measurement and wear analysis. The findings contribute to the optimization of polymer gear manufacturing, enhancing their reliability for industrial applications.
