Opis:POVZETEK Teoretična izhodišča: Poklici v zdravstveni negi so zahtevni zaradi dinamike stroke – nenehnih novosti in sprememb. Zato so za delavce v zdravstveni negi (še posebno vodje) dodatna izobraževanja izredno pomembna za ustrezno vodenje zdravstvenega tima. Vloga vodje je zelo zahtevna, saj mora imeti veliko pozitivnih lastnosti in jih znati tudi primerno uporabljati, znanje pa pridobivati ter nadgrajevati s formalnim in neformalnim izobraževanjem. Namen naše raziskave je preučiti poznavanje možnosti kontinuiranega izobraževanja na področju vodenja, namenjenega vodstvenim delavcem v zdravstveni negi v Sloveniji. Metode: Raziskava je temeljila na deskriptivni metodi dela in kvalitativni metodi raziskovanja. Potekala je do marca 2025. Kriterij za sodelovanje pri intervjuju je bila vodstvena funkcija v srednjem ali nižjem menedžmentu v zdravstveni negi, ki neprekinjeno traja vsaj eno leto (npr. vodja patronažne službe, vodja oddelka, reševalne enote …). V raziskavi je sodelovalo šest intervjuvancev, vsi so vodje (vodja oddelka, diplomirana medicinska sestra v vlogi vodje tima, vodja reševalne enote, vodja patronažne službe). Predhodno smo pridobili soglasje ustanove, v kateri smo opravljali intervjuje. Rezultati: V raziskavi je sodelovalo šest intervjuvancev, od tega pet oseb ženskega in ena oseba moškega spola. Vsi intervjuvanci imajo visokošolsko izobrazbo. Dve osebi sta vodji oddelka, ostale štiri so glavne ali odgovorne medicinske sestre na oddelkih. Vsi intervjuvanci menijo, da je kontinuirano izobraževanje danes izrednega pomena, saj se vsakodnevno pojavljajo novosti oziroma spremembe, s katerimi se moramo zdravstveni delavci redno seznanjati in jih upoštevati. Vsi se tudi strinjajo s trditvijo, da bi se moral vsak dober vodstveni delavec v zdravstveni negi zavedati pomembnosti kontinuiranega izobraževanja in o tem seznanjati tudi sodelavce. Razprava: Iz podatkov, ki smo jih prejeli iz sodelujoče ustanove, je razvidno, da ima največ vodstvenih delavcev visokošolsko izobrazbo, manj pa magisterij ali specializacijo. V raziskavi smo ugotovili, da se vodstveni delavci na izobraževanja prijavljajo sami, kar pa je zaradi pomanjkanja kadra ali odsotnosti odobritve s strani delodajalca pogosto onemogočeno. Kljub temu nekaterim vodstvenim delavcem uspeva, da se dodatnih izobraževanj udeležujejo celo na mesečni ravni, vsi pa trdijo, da se pomena dodatnih izobraževanj, še posebno s področja vodenja dobro zavedajo.

Naslov:CONTINUOUS EDUCATION OF LEADERSHIP PERSONNEL IN HEALTHCARE
Opis:ABSTRACT Introduction: The nursing profession, both as a nurse and as a health care manager, is challenging and dynamic field in which innovations and changes are constantly occuring, making further education crucial for health care workers (especially managers) and playing an important role in the health care team management process. The role of a leader is a very demanding one, as they must possess many positive qualities, which they must be able to use appropriately, and acquire and improve their knowledge through formal and non-formal education. The aim of our research is therefore to investigate the knowledge of continuing education opportunities in the field of management aimed at managers in nursing in Slovenia. Methods: The research was based on descriptive method of work and a qualitive method of research. Primary data collection was carried out in two parts. The first research question was answered by reviewing the reports of the health care institutions where the interviewees are employed, and a semi-structured interview was used to answer the remaining research questions. The survey was conducted till march 2025. The criterion for participation in the interview was a middle or lower management positioning in nursing that had been in place continuously for one year (e.g. head of the patronage service, heads of wards, units, head of ambulance unit, etc.). Eight interviewees took part in the study , all of them managers (head of department, registered nurse as team leader, head of emergenci unit, head of patronage unit). Prior consent was obtained from an institution where the interviews were conducted. Results: Six interviewees took part in the study, five female and one male. All interviewees have a university degree. Two of the interviewees are ward managers and the other four are head or charge nurses on the wards. All the interviewees believe that continuing education is of paramount importance in this day and age, as there are new developments or changes that healthcare professionals need to be aware of and keep abreast of on a daily basis. All interviewees also believe that every good nursing manager should be aware of the importance of continuing education and should communicate this to other workers and colleagues. Discussion: According to the data we received from the participating institution, the most common educational qualification attained by managers is a university degree, but in addition to this, master's degrees are also in common. There is even one specialisation. The survey found that managers are applying for training themselves, which is often not possible due to staff shortages or employer disapproval. However, we have found that some managers manage to attend additional trainings on a monthly basis. However, all managers claim to be well aware of the importance of additional training, especially from a perspective of a leadership.
