Abstract:Uvod: Ahilova tetiva je najmočnejša in hkrati najpogosteje pretrgana tetiva v človeškem telesu. Raziskave smo predstavili v PRISMA diagramu in tabelarično.

Abstract:Introduction: Achilles tendon is the strongest and most commonly ruptured tendon in the human body. It is on average 15 cm long and very important for its mechanics, as it allows plantar flexion of the foot. The force transmissions absorbed by the Achilles tendon during different activities can be very high, and rupture often occurs when the tendon is overstretched under pressure. Different rehabilitation approaches can be used for Achilles tendon rupture. Treatment is either surgical or conservative, which is determined by the doctor and depends on the degree of rupture. For both treatment modalities, physiotherapy and gradual loading of the leg are started immediately after the tendon has healed. Rehabilitation approaches include physiotherapy treatment of the Achilles tendon as well as kinesiology treatment and other rehabilitation approaches. Purpose: The aim of the diploma thesis was to review the literature, compare and analyse different approaches to rehabilitation after Achilles tendon rupture. Methods: In the diploma thesis, a literature review was used as the research method. All literature was searched in PubMed, ProQuest, Science Direct, Sage Journals and COBISS databases and selected according to inclusion criteria. Results: We included 10 articles out of 2502 into the final review. They were presented in a PRISMA diagram and a table. 19 codes were generated and classified into four categories. Discussion: Research has shown that all rehabilitation approaches are useful in their own way and have positive results. Rehabilitation is crucial for a good recovery and an optimal return to everyday life or sport.
