Znanstvene in strokovne članke smo iskali v podatkovnih bazah ScienceDirect, PubMed, PEDro, Emerald, ProQuest, Cochrane Library in Google Učenjak, ustrezati pa so morali določenim vključitvenim in izključitvenim merilom.

Abstract:Background: Dementia with Lewy bodies is a brain disorder that can cause problems with thinking, movement, behavior and mood. Research findings show that people with DLT benefit greatly from physiotherapy, as it can provide assistance with walking and target specific motor impairments. The aim of the thesis was to find out how physiotherapy treatment of people with DLT affects the physical and cognitive function of the individual. Methods: qualitative research method of a systematic review of domestic and foreign literature was used. Scientific and professional articles were searched in databases such as ScienceDirect, PubMed, PEDro, Emerald, ProQuest, Cochrane Library and Google Scholar, and they had to meet certain inclusion and exclusion criteria. 8 studies were included in the final analysis. Results: A review of the literature showed that physiotherapy has positive effects on people with DLT. Physiotherapy treatment improves balance, walking, strength, and can also improve memory, learning and slow cognitive decline. Discussion and conclusion: Physical activity in the form of an exercise program has been shown to be the most effective physiotherapeutic method in the treatment of persons with DLT, which has a positive effect on the physical as well as cognitive functions of persons with DLT. Due to the lack of studies focusing exclusively on the impact of physiotherapy on people with DLT, without including people with other types of dementia in the sample, the quality of this literature review is lower.
