Uporabljene so bile še metode klasifikacije, kompilacije in komparacije. Poznavanje različnih vadbenih metod in tehnik omogoča bolj ciljno usmerjeno izbiro terapij in celostno obravnavo nosečnice skozi celotno nosečnost.

Abstract:Introduction: This thesis addresses physical activity during pregnancy and postpartum and identifies the most suitable types of exercise from a physiotherapy perspective. The focus is on the importance of safe exercise, the definition of appropriate forms, indications and contraindications, and guidelines for the postpartum period. Methods: A descriptive research method was used, based on a review of professional and scientific literature. Classification, compilation, and comparison methods were also applied. The analysis included 10 previously conducted studies, selected using the PRISMA diagram based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Results: Guidelines for safe physical activity during pregnancy and after childbirth emphasize the importance of regular, moderate exercise that is safe for most women. The exercise should include aerobic activities and strength training exercises. Postpartum, it is important to introduce exercise gradually, contributing to faster recovery and reducing the risk of postpartum depression. Recommendations include at least 150 minutes of moderate physical activity per week, spread over several days, and strength training exercises at least twice a week. Conclusion: Optimal exercise during pregnancy and postpartum significantly contributes to improved physical fitness, mental health, and overall quality of life. Physiotherapists play a crucial role by adapting exercise programs to the needs and condition of each pregnant woman to ensure safe and effective exercise. Knowledge of various exercise methods and techniques enables a more targeted selection of therapies and comprehensive care for the pregnant woman throughout pregnancy.
