Title:Koristi in vpliv prenatalne vadbe na psihofizično stanje nosečnice in razvoj ploda : pregled literature

Abstract:Teoretična izhodišča: Kljub znanstvenim dokazom o pozitivnih učinkih prenatalne vadbe na zdravje matere in ploda, manj kot 15 % nosečnic doseže priporočeno raven telesne aktivnosti. Strahovi pred škodljivostjo vadbe in pomanjkanje informacij pogosto vodijo v telesno nedejavnost, kar lahko vpliva na potek nosečnosti in razvoj ploda. Diplomsko delo obravnava vpliv varne prenatalne vadbe na psihofizično stanje nosečnic ter njen pomen za zdrav razvoj ploda. Metode: Empirični del diplomskega dela temelji na kvalitativni sistematični analizi znanstvenih študij iz let 2015 – 2025, pridobljenih iz baz PubMed, PubMed Central, PEDro in ScienceDirect. Uporabljene so bile metode kompilacije, komparacije, analize, deskripcije in sinteze. Članki so bili izbrani po vnaprej določenih kriterijih in ocenjeni s pomočjo PEDro lestvice ter prikazani s PRISMA diagramom. Raziskave so bile analizirane glede na raziskovalna vprašanja in razdeljene v tabelo kategorij in kod. Rezultati: Devet analiziranih raziskav potrjuje pozitivne učinke varne prenatalne vadbe na zmanjšanje nosečniških težav, boljše psihično počutje nosečnic in ugoden vpliv na rast ter razvoj ploda. Fizični učinki zajemajo predvsem zmanjšanje prekomernega pridobivanja telesne teže in izboljšanje srčno-žilnega zdravja, medtem ko na psihološkem področju zmanjšuje simptome depresije in anksioznosti ter prispeva k boljši kakovosti življenja. Prav tako jo povezujejo z zmanjšanjem tveganja za zaplete v nosečnosti in izboljšano funkcijo posteljice. Na podlagi primerjave študij v empiričnem delu je mogoče opredeliti več vrst vadbe, ki so se izkazale za učinkovite in varne. Razprava: Kljub znanim koristim ostaja delež telesno aktivnih nosečnic nizek. Pomembno je spodbujati ozaveščenost, prilagoditi priporočila in vključiti varno vadbo kot sestavni del prenatalne oskrbe.

Abstract:Theoretical Background: Although scientific studies confirm the benefits of prenatal exercise for both mother and fetus, fewer than 15 % of pregnant women meet recommended activity levels. Fear of harm and lack of information often lead to inactivity, which can negatively affect pregnancy and fetal development. This thesis explores how safe prenatal exercise influences the physical and psychological well-being of pregnant women and supports healthy fetal growth. Methods: The empirical part is based on a qualitative systematic review of studies from 2015 – 2025 sourced from PubMed, PubMed Central, PEDro and ScienceDirect. Research articles were selected using set criteria, evaluated with the PEDro scale, and organised using the PRISMA diagram. Methods included compilation, comparison, analysis, and synthesis. Results: Nine studies demonstrated that safe prenatal exercise reduces pregnancy complications, supports cardiovascular health, limits excessive weight gain, and improves mental well-being by reducing anxiety and depression. It is also linked to enhanced placental function and better fetal development. Various types of exercise were found to be effective and safe. Discussion: Despite clear benefits, physical activity among pregnant women remains low. There is a pressing need to promote awareness, adjust health recommendations, and integrate prenatal exercise into standard maternity care.
