Abstract:
Magistrsko delo obravnava analizo karakteristik radialnih črpalk. Predstavljeni sta teorija črpalk in dinamika tekočin.

Title:
Analysis of radial pump characteristics using computational fluid dynamics
Abstract:
The masters thesis deals with the analysis of radial pump characteristics. At the beginning the thesis presents previously conducted analysis iin the field of radial pumps. The theory of pumps and fluid dynamics is introduced. For further analysis the software solution ANSYS is utilized, which includes the VistaCPD and CFX software tools. By varying the number of impeller blades in radial pumps at different specific rotational speeds, the impact on the characteristics of individual radial pump was investigated.
