Abstract:Diplomska naloga obravnava problematiko upravljanja z ostanki materiala nižje vrednosti v proizvodnem procesu, kjer stroški manipulacije pogosto presegajo dejansko vrednost teh materialov.

Title:OPTIMIZATION OF PROCURMENT AND USE OF LOWER VALUE MATERIAL
Abstract:The thesis addresses the issue of managing low-value material remnants within the production process, where handling costs often exceed the actual value of the material. The primary challenge was the inefficient preparation of such materials, as remnants with different serial numbers were repeatedly stored, moved, and re-prepared for use. This resulted in significant time losses and disruptions in production. Through detailed analysis, we identified the key inefficiency factors and, based on these findings, developed parameters to eliminate the repeated use of such remnants. The proposed solution was initially tested manually and later successfully automated and integrated into the regular workflow, leading to improved transparency, reduced waste, and enhanced production efficiency.
