S pomočjo kožnih markerjev in sistema GPS600 Postural Lab, smo posneli fotografije, ki smo jih obdelali s pomočjo programa GPS 5.0 posture analysis software.

Title:Correlation between upper body posture, the lumbal spine and the pelvic posture in young adults
Abstract:Introduction and objective: It is known that the whole body is interconnected, which means that a change of one segment can affect the posture of the entire body. In our research, we wanted to determine if there is a connection between the inclination of the pelvis and other related and unrelated segments of the spine. Methods: The study involved eighty-five volunteers. We had excluded all physical and mental issues, injuries or disorders of neuromuscular or musculoskeletal system. With the help of the skin markers and the system GPS600 Postural Lab, we recorded photographs that we processed using the programme GPS 5.0 posture analysis software. Results: The results have shown a significant correlation between the pelvic inclination and the inclination of the thoracic spine (r = - 0.269, p < 0.05) and the trunk angle (r = - 0.546, p < 0.05). Other variables do not show any statistically relevant correlation with the pelvic inclination. Usability: Although the inclination of the pelvis is not connected to all related or unrelated curvatures of the spine, by using the direct comparison, we have determined the influence of the posture on the interconnected segments. Limitations: On this basis, we can conclude that the change of the inclination of the pelvis due to the compensation mehanism affects the change in the posture of the entire spine.
