Abstract:Uvod in namen: Disfunkcija medeničnega dna pomeni nepravilno delovanje mišic medeničnega dna (MMD). Fizioterapevtska obravnava disfunkcije vsebuje različne metode zdravljenja. Rezultati so bili obdelani s pomočjo programa Excel.

Title:PHYSIOTHERAPEUTIC TREATMENT OF PELVIC FLOOR DYSFUNCTION WITH RESEARCH ABOUT USEFULNESS OF MAGNETIC CHAIR
Abstract:Introduction and purpose: The pelvic floor dysfunction implies malfunctioning of the pelvic floor muscle. Physiotherapy treatment of dysfunction contains various treatment methods. One of the newer ones is functional magnetic stimulation (FMS). The purpose of the diploma thesis is to study the physiotherapy treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction with the help of professional literature and to determine the usefulness of a magnetic chair, which operates according to the FMS principle. Methods: We have distributed a questionnaire at previously agreed medical institutions providing FMS therapy. Patients completed the questionnaire before the first and the last FMS therapy. The study involved 36 people, including 30 women and 6 men. The results were processed using Excel. Results: The results show that this kind of treatment is most often selected by older women who have already given birth and have stressful urinary incontinence. The magnetic chair has proven effective in reducing the frequency of urine leakage, night urination and urine leakage during physical activity and improved quality of the patient's life. Usability: FMS is an effective new method for treating people with pelvic dysfunction. Limitations: A small number of patients participated in the study. Dysfunction of the pelvic floor is a broad term, therefore, the comparison of the results is difficult.
