Title:Vloga mentorja pri uvajanju fizioterapevta pripravnika

Abstract:Uvod in namen: Namen diplomske naloge je bil raziskati pomen strokovnosti mentorja pri uvajanju fizioterapevta pripravnika, ali komunikacijsko spretnejši mentor pozitivno vpliva na potek pripravništva fizioterapevta. Metode: Podatke za pripravo diplomske naloge smo pridobili s pomočjo domače in tuje literature na temo mentorstva. Izvedli smo empirično analizo na osnovi anonimnega anketnega vprašalnika. Anketiranci so bili diplomirani fizioterapevti, ki so pripravništvo že opravili. Izpolnjenih je bilo 70 anket. Rezultati: Rezultati anketiranih fizioterapevtov dokazujejo, da so bili v času pripravništva zadovoljni s strokovnim znanjem mentorja, prav tako menijo, da komunikacijsko spreten mentor pozitivno vpliva na potek pripravništva fizioterapevtov. Uporabnost: Predstavitev mentorstva ter vloga in pomen mentorja v fizioterapevtski stroki. Izpostavljena so bila neizpolnjena pričakovanja fizioterapevtov in predlogi ter želje za izvedbo pripravništva v fizioterapevtski stroki v prihodnje. Omejitve: Omejitveni element pri pisanju diplomske naloge je skromno število anketirancev, zato ugotovitev ne moremo posplošiti na celotno populacijo.

Title:Mentor's role during the internship of the physiotherapist trainee
Abstract:Introduction and purpose: The purpose of the diploma thesis was to research the importance of the mentor's professionalism in training a trainee physiotherapist, and whether a mentor with better communication skills has a positive impact on the course of the physiotherapist's traineeship. Methods: For writing the diploma thesis, data were obtained from domestic and foreign literature on the topic of mentoring. An empirical analysis was conducted based on an anonymous survey questionnaire. The respondents have degrees in Physiotherapy and have already completed their traineeship. Seventy surveys were filled out. Results: The responses of the surveyed physiotherapists indicate that they were satisfied with the mentor’s expertise during their traineeship; moreover, they believe that a mentor skilled in communication has a positive impact on the course of the traineeship of physiotherapists. Applicability: Presentation of mentoring and of the role and importance of the mentor in the profession of physiotherapy. It highlights the physiotherapists’ unmet expectations, and their suggestions and desires for the future implementation of traineeship in physiotherapy. Limitations: A limiting element in writing the diploma thesis is the modest number of respondents, which is why the findings cannot be generalized to the entire population.
