Opis:V diplomski nalogi smo obravnavali odgovorno delovanje mladih v odnosu do varovanja okolja. V nalogi smo preučili, kako mladi razumejo odgovorno delovanje in v kolikšni meri so dejansko aktivni, ter kako sami delujejo v smeri ohranjanja in varovanja okolja.

Naslov:Responsible action of young people in environmental projects of the non-governmental sector : diploma thesis
Opis:In the bachelor thesis "Responsible action of young people in environmental projects of the non-governmental sector“ we will discuss the responsible action of young people in relation to environmental protection. Responsibility is acting individually, it means accepting a task, doing it to the best of your ability, and then standing behind what you do. In this paper, we examined how young people understand responsible action and the extent to which they are actually active, and how they themselves work towards maintaining environmental protection. We focused mainly on young people who actively participate in environmental projects of non-governmental organizations, which enabled us to identify good practices. In the research, we conducted an in-depth interview with ten interviewees (participants in the project "Youth action for rural water protection"). The main results and findings of our dissertation are that young people in the general population are aware of environmental problems, but are less involved in non-governmental environmental projects. We also found from our research that not enough is learned about this in educational institutions. We also noticed that young people who actively work through non-governmental organizations and thus participate in various projects for environmental protection and sustainable development are an example of good practice. Based on the conducted interviews, we found that the projects of non-governmental organizations are mostly successful, although they sometimes encounter various problems that make it difficult to implement projects. These are: weak financial capacity, poor response of young people to projects or even weak organization and structure of the project, weak response and support of the authorities. At the very end of the diploma thesis, we added suggestions for possible improvements, such as: working more on raising awareness in educational institutions, involving them in solving environmental problems; to present projects of non-governmental organizations at faculties and in this way enable young people to participate in international environmental projects; establish better cooperation with local authorities, educational and religious institutions; improve the promotion of non-governmental projects online and on social networks, as this is the main channel of information for all generations.
