Title:THE INFLUENCE OF THE FORM OF THE FILLER STRUCTURE OF 3D PRINTED POLYMER AND COMPOSITE MATERIALS ON THE MANUFACTURING TIME
Abstract:The thesis titled The Impact of Infill Structure Design on the Production Time of 3D-Printed Polymer and Composite Materials examines the influence of various parameters, such as infill structure design, infill density, and material type, on production time in 3D printing using FDM technology. The experimental section includes a comparison of printing times for materials PLA, PLA+CF, PETG, ABS, and ASA at different infill densities (20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, and 100%) and three infill structures (line, triangle, and grid). Results indicate that at 100% infill density, PLA material with a "line" infill structure has an average print time of 1549 seconds, while the grid structure requires 1598 seconds, representing a 3.2% increase in time. All materials show a trend of increased print time with the complexity of the infill structure and infill density. These findings provide guidelines for optimizing parameters, allowing for up to a 10% reduction in print time with the selected parameter combinations.
