Filozofi in znanstveniki iz raznih področji že tisočletja poskušajo najti odgovore na ta vprašanja in opredeliti, kaj sploh je resničnost. O začetku našega sveta obstaja mnogo teorij, a skozi diplomsko nalogo sem natančneje predelal le eno, ki govori o tem, da obstaja možnost, da živimo v simulaciji prednikov. Za namene raziskovanja te možnosti sem se lotil preučevanja naše zgodovine, morale in etike ter dela na virtualni resničnosti in umetni inteligenci. S preučevanjem teh področji sem poskušal sestaviti profil s stališča človeške rase, ali bi ta izvajala simulacije prednikov, in tako odgovoriti na vprašanje, ali obstaja možnost, da živimo v simulaciji. Abstract:	Humanity has been asking it selves where we came from, why are we here and where we are in general. Philosophers and scientists from different fields have been trying to find answers to these questions for thousands of years and trying to determine what reality is. There are many theories about the beginning of our world, and through the diploma work, I have only focused more precisely on the one that talks about the possibility of living in the ancestor-simulation. For the purpose of exploring this possibility, I started studying our history, morality and ethics, and current work on virtual reality and artificial intelligence. By studying these areas, I tried to compile a profile from the perspective of the human race if it would perform simulations of ancestors, in order to answer the question if there is a possibility that we are living in a simulation.
