Abstract:
Cilj diplomske naloge je s pomočjo literature preučiti in predstaviti pojem IoT in se predvsem osredotočiti na samo varnost in zaščito v sistemu. V prvem delu diplomske naloge je na kratko opisano, kaj je internet stvari (angl. Internet of things – IoT) in predstavljena njegova zgodovina, nekaj primerov uporabe, in sicer pametni domovi in prostori,prenosljive naprave, pametna mesta in uporaba v zdravstvu. Nato sledijo standardi IoT, v zaključku prvega dela pa še tehnologije, ki se uporabljajo oziroma omogočajo internet stvari; to je tehnologija radiofrekvenčne identifikacije (RFID), brezžičnih senzorskih omrežij (WSN), senzorskih omrežij RFID ter brezstična tehnologija NFC. V drugem delu diplomske naloge pa so podrobneje predstavljene varnostne grožnje, nevarnosti in ranljivosti z opisi in primeri napadov na sistem in pa sam internet stvari. Sledijo vidiki varnosti in zaščitni ukrepi oziroma priporočeni načini varovanja. V zaključku so predstavljene še težave in izzivi ter podani praktični primeri in področja uporabe.

Abstract:
The goal of the thesis is to introduce the concept of IoT with the help of literature and above all focus on the security of the protection itself in the system. In the first part of the thesis, it’s generally described what is the Internet of Things (IoT), and its history. Then are presented some examples of applications namely smart houses and spaces, portable devices, smart cities and use in health care. After that are described standards and at the end of first part technologies which are used or enable the Internet of Things; which are Radio Frequency Identification Technology (RFID), Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN), RFID Sensor Networks and NFC Contact Technology. In the second part of the thesis, are presented security threats, dangers and vulnerabilities with descriptions and examples of attacks on the system and on the internet of things itself. Following are security aspects and protective measures or recommended ways to protect yourself. At the end are also presented some problems and challenges along with practical examples in the field of applications.
