Prodajni proces B2B je dolg in zahteven proces, ki se mora izvajati z izredno strateškim pristopom, predvsem pa gre pri tem le za tehnično prodajo, pri čemer je treba ciljnega kupca ves čas izobraževati o rešitvah podjetja. Podjetja B2B lahko tako družbena omrežja uporabijo kot način promocije svojih izdelkov ali storitev ter predvsem izobraževanja svoje ciljne skupine, kar jim prihrani čas in denar, ki bi sicer moral biti investiran v izobraževanje na terenu.
