Abstract:Bolečine v križu (BvK) so postale velik zdravstveni problem po vsem svetu. Raziskave potrjujejo, da bolečine v križu doživlja 84 odstotkov svetovne populacije. Bvk je simptom in ne bolezen.

Title:Determining the effect of age on low back pain and physiotherapy treatment
Abstract:Low back pain (LBP) has become a major public health problem worldwide. Research shows that LBP affects 84 countries of the world population. LBP is a symptom and not a disease. Among the most common causes of LBP in people over the age of fiftty are degenerative changes in discs and joints, lumbar spinal stenosis, spondylolistesis and compression fracture or. osteoporotic fracture. The purpose of the thesis was to review the literature on the impact of physiotherapy treatment on LBP in older adults and to assess the incidence of LBD in the elderly as a consequence of degenerative changes. We included 14 studies in the final systematic review. We found that the incidence of low back pain is higher among older adults, as a result of degenerative changes that occur with age. We also found that there is evidence of the effectiveness of physiotherapy treatment for LBD in older adults.
