Abstract:Dojenje je naraven proces, ki zagotavlja optimalno prehrano in zdravstvene koristi za otroka in mater. Dojenje večini sodobnih generacij žensk ni naravno, saj se v večini primerov prvič srečajo z dojenjem, ko same rodijo, zato potrebujejo pomoč različnih strokovnjakov s tega področja. Ene izmed teh so tudi patronažne medicinske sestre. Z večkratnimi obiski na domu otročnice in novorojenca želimo doseči, da je vsaka deležna primerna fizične in učinkovite psihične ter socialne podpore. Med intervencijami svetuje, prikaže in seznani s pomenom dojenja ter materinega mleka, tehnikami in o pomenu pravilnega pristavljanja otroka na dojko. Raziskavo smo opravili med materami, katere so nam pomagale z izpolnitvijo ankete, ugotoviti oskrbo, podporo in vlogo patronažne medicinske sestre v procesu spodbujanju dojenja.

Title:THE ROLE OF THE COMMUNITY NURSE IN PROMOTING BREASTFEEDING
Abstract:Breastfeeding is a natural process that provides optimal nutrition and health benefits for the baby and the mother. Breastfeeding is not natural for most modern generations of women, because in most cases they first encounter breastfeeding when they give birth themselves, so they need the help of various experts in this field. One of these are community nurses. With repeated visits to the home of the midwife and the newborn, we want to ensure that everyone gets a share adequate physical and effective psychological and social support. During the interventions, he advises, demonstrates and informs about the importance of breastfeeding and breast milk, techniques and the importance of correctly attaching the baby to the breast. We conducted research among mothers who helped us by filling out a survey to determine the care, support and role of the visiting nurse in the process of promoting breastfeeding.
