Diplomsko delo prikazuje umestitev obravnavanih spisov znotraj hierarhije fonda, seznanja s stanjem teh spisov v materialno-tehničnem smislu in s vsebinskimi ter jezikovnimi značilnostmi.

Abstract:Within the Kingdom of Hungary, the area of today’s Prekmurje was administratively divided into two counties: the part of Prekmurje with Murska Sobota was part of Vas County, while the part of Prekmurje with Lendava belonged to Zala County. This administrative border also represented the ecclesiastical border between the dioceses of Győr and Zagreb. Since schools and religious denominations were closely connected within the Kingdom of Hungary, several types of religious schools functioned in Prekmurje: roman catholic, lutheran and calvinist. After the Treaty of Trianon was signed in 1920, the area of Prekmurje became a part of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes. After the occupation, Prekmurje represented a single district. The administrative unit of this district, the Civil Commissioner was based in Murska Sobota and had a branch office in Dolnja Lendava. In 1921, instead of the Civil Commissioner, okrajno glavarstvo (the Head of District) began to operate, which, in 1922 was renamed to sresko poglavarstvo. At that time within the district only one school district operated in Prekmurje. In 1924 the branch office was abolished and two Head of District began to operate in Prekmurje, one based in Murska Sobota and one in Dolnja Lendava. With that, there were two school districts that operated in Prekmurje. Within the Kingdom of Yugoslavia in 1929, the administrative units named sreska poglavarstva were renamed to sreska načelstva. The research is focusing on the records of the Department of Education in fond Head of District Murska Sobota – District School Board for Prekmurje in the time of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes from 1920 to 1929. These records are kept by the Regional Archives Maribor. The introduced archival records reflect the administrative activity of their creator. The thesis showes the placement of the considered records by meanings of a hierarchical level of description, it introduces the condition of these records in the physical and technical meaning, the content and linguistic characteristics.
