Abstract:Business letter and email communication is a vital skill in the business world. This work is intended to be a guidance for those who work in the business field to communicate professionally and achieve better results. It provides the reader with valuable background information about the importance of business letters and emails writing and elaborates on the core elements of the writing process with a practical tone. This work gives a brief introduction to the topic and states the research questions, discusses business letters alone, discusses emails alone, and both differentiates and compares between letters and emails. Then it augments that with a practical analysis for individuals to apply and internalize what they have learned. In this analysis, a collection of actual business letters and emails is provided. Every letter and email is carefully and professionally analyzed according to the principles discussed in the previous sections, with comments on the strength or weakness of a letter or email. Overall, this should assist in an individual scale and collective scale. Individuals will be better at effective communication which will lead to a career success. Companies will be able to design well-founded, more effective and competitive policies on letter and email communication.
