Abstract:Izhodišča: Duševno zdravje izvajalcev zdravstvene nege je pomembno za nudenje kakovostne, varne in celostne zdravstvene obravnave, dobro počutje pacientov in ostalih zaposlenih v zdravstvenem sistemu. Stres in izgorelost sta dva različna pojava pri izvajalcih zdravstvene nege, a sta povezana in neposredno vplivata na njihovo duševno zdravje. Metoda: Uporabili smo kvantitativno metodo dela.

Title:MENTAL HEALTH OF NURSING CARE PROVIDERS IN PSYCHIATRY
Abstract:Background: The mental health of healthcare providers is important for the provision of quality, safe and holistic healthcare and the well-being of patients and other healthcare workers. Stress and burnout are two different phenomena in healthcare providers, but they are linked and have a direct impact on their mental health. Method: A quantitative method was used. The sample included psychiatric care providers (n = 82). A structured questionnaire was used, which was designed based on literature review. The survey was conducted in September 2024. Results: On average, nursing practitioners are most likely to feel confident about their ability to manage their personal problems or stress. There are many things in the working life of healthcare providers that demand a lot of time and energy, but they also recognize that they should exercise more and eat healthier. Nursing practitioners experience burnout in their work, with exhaustion and mental detachment being the dominant segments. Discussion: Nursing practitioners feel burnt out and stressed at work, but our results do not suggest that the situation is alarming. In the future, there is a need for systematic involvement of all health care institutions at
