Title:PSIHOLOŠKO BLAGOSTANJE ZDRAVSTVENEGA OSEBJA V INTENZIVNI NEGI

Abstract:Izhodišča: Zdravstveni delavci so vsak dan izpostavljeni visokim ravnem stresa, ki izvira iz zdravstvenih stanj pacientov, nezadostnega števila zaposlenih, prevelike količine dela, slabeih odnosov znotraj ekip in zdravstvenih ustanov. Predlogi za spoprijemanje s stresom so različni, vendar poenoteni med zaposlenimi v zdravstvu. Večina predlogov temelji na lastnem trudu posameznika, nekaj predlogov pa se usmeri tudi v spremembo način dela samih zdravstvenih ustanov. Metode: V raziskavi je sodelovalo 8 zdravstvenih delavcev, zaposlenih v intenzivni negi. Uporabili smo kvalitativni raziskovalni pristop z deskriptivno metodo dela. Za pridobivanje primarnih podatkov smo uporabili tehniko intervjuvanja. Za potrebe teoretičnega dela diplomskega dela smo podatke iskali v bibliografskih bazah podatkov Cobiss, PubMed, SpringerLink), in sicer v slovenskem in angleškem jeziku. Rezultati: Ugotovili smo, da so zaposleni v intenzivni negi podvrženi podobnim dejavnikom stresa, kot so težka zdravstvena stanja pacientov, slaba organizacija dela, prevelika količina dela in premalo zapolsenih. Prav tako smo ugotovili, da imajo zaposleni v intenzivni negi podobne načine soočanja s tem stresom oziroma skrbi za njihovo psihološko blagostanje. Razprava: Podobno kot opisujejo tuji avtorji, se tudi v Sloveniji zaposleni spoprijemajo s stresom na delovnem mestu. Sami dobro prepoznajo stresne dejavnike na delovnem mestu in opisujejo rešitve, s katerimi bi jih lahko zmanjšali sami in kako bi lahko k temu pripomogle tudi zdravstvene ustanove.

Title:PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING OF HEALTH CARE WORKERS IN INTENSIVE CARE UNIT
Abstract:Origins: Health care workers are exposed to high levels of stress every day. This stress stems from patients health conditions, insufficient staff, overwork, poor relationships within teams and healthcare facilities. Proposals for coping with this stress are varied, but unified among health care workers. Most of the proposals are based on own efforts of individuals, but few proposals also focus on changing the way institutions work. Methods: The study involved 8 health care workers, employed in intensive care unit. We used a qualitative research approach with a descriptive method of work. We used an interviewing technique to obtain the primary data. For the purposes of the theoretical part of the thesis, we searched for data in bibliographic databases (Cobiss, PubMed, SpringerLink) in Slovenian and English. Results: We found that intensive care workers are subject to similar stress factors, such as difficult patient health conditions, poor work organization, overwork, and understaffing. We also found that intensive care workers have similar ways of coping with this stress or taking care of their psychological well-being. Disscusion: Similarly to the description of foreign authors, employees in Slovenia also face stress at work. They themselves are good at identifying stress factors in the workplace and describe solutions that could be used to reduce those stress factors and how health care facilities could also help to do so.
