Title:Kakovost dela in zadovoljstvo pacientov s telegentskimi storitvami

Abstract:Izhodišča: Telemedicina je oblika zdravstvene oskrbe na daljavo, ki z uporabo informacijske in komunikacijske tehnologije omogoča dostop do zdravstvenih storitev brez neposrednega fizičnega stika med pacientom in izvajalcem. V času pandemije covid-19 je postala ključna rešitev za zagotavljanje varne in pravočasne oskrbe ter zmanjšanje tveganja za širjenje okužb. Ena izmed pomembnih vej telemedicine je telegenetika, ki omogoča izvajanje genetskih svetovanj na daljavo, kar je še posebej dragoceno za prebivalce oddaljenih območij in tiste z omejenim dostopom do zdravstvenih storitev. Namen magistrske naloge je oceniti sprejemljivost telegenetike v slovenskem prostoru v času covid-19 in po njem, kakovost izvedbe storitve ter zadovoljstvo pacientov s storitvijo. Metoda: Za zbiranje podatkov smo uporabili metodo sistematičnega pregleda obstoječe strokovne in znanstvene literature kakovosti v zdravstvu in zadovoljstvu pacientov s telegenetskim svetovanjem. Za anketiranje smo oblikovali spletni anketni vprašalnik, ki smo ga prek internetne pošte razposlali ciljni populaciji. Spletni vprašalnik je bil oblikovan v spletnem orodju 1ka. V raziskavo smo vključili paciente s sumom na genetsko bolezen, ki so bili v času pandemije in po njej napoteni v specialistično ambulanto Kliničnega inštituta za genomsko medicino v Ljubljani. Podatki so se zbirali v spletnem orodju 1ka. Statistična obdelava je bila narejena s pomočjo programa SPSS. Rezultati: V raziskavi je sodelovalo 860 anketirancev, 770 je bilo obravnavanih med pandemijo in 90 po pandemiji. S pomočjo statističnih testov smo nekatere hipoteze potrdili, nekatere ovrgli. Rezultati raziskave so pokazali visoko zadovoljstvo pacientov s telegenetskim svetovanjem, ki je ostalo visoko tako med pandemijo kot po njej. Večina anketirancev bi se ponovno odločila za takšno obliko obravnave. V raziskavi smo ugotovili povezavo med demografskimi dejavniki in zadovoljstvom anketiranih. Razumevanje informacij je bilo v povprečju višje pri pacientih z univerzitetno izobrazbo kot pri tistih z nižjo izobrazbo. Anketiranci, ki so med svetovanjem naleteli na tehnične težave, so težje razumeli prejete informacije. Velika večina bi telegenetsko svetovanje priporočila tudi drugim. Razprava: Naša raziskava je pokazala visoko zadovoljstvo pacientov s telegenetskim svetovanjem. Rezultati potrjujejo, da telegenetika prispeva k večji učinkovitosti in kakovosti zdravstvene obravnave ter omogoča boljše prilagajanje izzivom sodobnega časa, kar prispeva k vzdržnosti zdravstvenega sistema. Kljub majhnosti Slovenije in relativno majhni oddaljenosti od centrov za genetske obravnave, je večina anketiranih pacientov izrazila pripravljenost, da bi se v prihodnje ponovno odločila za tovrsten način svetovanja. Ti rezultati potrjujejo potencial telegenetike kot trajne in obetavne metode zdravstvene oskrbe na daljavo v slovenskem prostoru.

Title:Quality of work and patient satisfaction with telegenetic services
Abstract:Background: Telemedicine is a form of remote healthcare that uses information and communication technology to provide access to healthcare services without direct physical contact between the patient and provider. During the covid-19 pandemic, it became a key solution for ensuring safe and timely care while reducing the risk of infection spread. One important branch of telemedicine is telegenetics, which enables remote genetic counseling, particularly valuable for residents of remote areas and those with limited access to healthcare services. The aim of this master’s thesis is to assess the acceptability of telegenetics in Slovenia during and after covid-19, the quality of service implementation, and patient satisfaction with the service. Method: We employed a systematic review of existing professional and scientific literature on healthcare quality and patient satisfaction with telegenetic counseling. A web-based survey questionnaire was developed and distributed to the target population via email. The online questionnaire was created using the 1ka web tool. The study included patients suspected of having a genetic disease who were referred to the specialist clinic of the Clinical Institute of Genomic Medicine in Ljubljana during and after the pandemic. Data were collected using the 1ka online tool, and statistical analysis was performed using the SPSS software. Results: A total of 860 respondents participated in the study, with 770 seen during the pandemic and 90 after the pandemic. Statistical tests confirmed some hypotheses while others were rejected. The results revealed high patient satisfaction with telegenetic counseling, which remained high both during and after the pandemic. Most respondents indicated they would choose this form of care again. The study identified a correlation between demographic factors and patient satisfaction. Patients with a university education reported a better understanding of the information compared to those with lower educational levels. Respondents who encountered technical difficulties during counseling had more difficulty understanding the information. The vast majority would also recommend telegenetic counseling to others. Discussion: Our research demonstrates high patient satisfaction with telegenetic counseling. The results confirm that telegenetics contributes to greater efficiency and quality in healthcare delivery, facilitating better adaptation to the challenges of modern times and supporting the sustainability of the healthcare system. Despite Slovenia’s small size and relatively short distances to genetic care centers, most surveyed patients expressed willingness to use this type of counseling again in the future. These results underscore the potential of telegenetics as a permanent and promising method of remote healthcare in Slovenia.
