Title:Nadgradnja sistema eavio za podporo električnim letalom : razširitev funkcionalnosti aplikacije za upravljanje letalskih klubov

Abstract:Diplomsko delo predstavlja nadgradnjo aplikacije eAvio, namenjene upravljanju letalskih klubov in šol, z novimi funkcionalnostmi, ki zagotavljajo boljšo podporo elekktričnim letalom. V začetku diplomskega dela so predstavljeni procesi in izzivi pri upravljanju letalskih klubov in hiter razvoj električnih letal, ki zahteva posodobljeno strukturo podatkovne baze (npr. nove entitete za baterijo, doseg in porabo baterije) in prilagojene uporabniške vmesnike. V prvem delu je predstavljena trenutna aplikacija eAvio. Drugi del diplomskega dela zajema načrtovanje in razvoj novih funkcionalnosti. Najprej je bila potrebna razširitev zalednega dela sistema v Laravelu z spremembo podatkovne baze, dodanimi oziroma razširjenimi API-ji, nato pa prilagoditev uporabniškega vmesnika v Vue.js. Tretji del opisuje testiranje novih funkcionalnosti in uporabniškega vmesnika ter prikazuje pridobljene rezultate in razpravo o tem, kako nadgradnja poveča učinkovitost uporabljanja letalskih klubov, ki imajo v floti tudi električna letala. Rezultate testiranja potrjujejo da nova različica aplikacije omogoča učinkovito upravljanje podatkov o električnih letalih ter izboljšuje uporabniško izkušnjo.

Abstract:The diploma thesis presents an upgrade of the eAvio application, designed for managing aviation clubs and flight schools by introducing new functionality to better support electric aircrafts. The opening chapter outlines the processes and challenges involved in operating flying clubs and highlights the rapid advance of electric aircraft, which calls for an updated database structure (e.g., new entities for battery, range, and energy consumption) and redesigned user interfaces. The first part of the thesis reviews the current state of the eAvio application. The second part covers the design and development of the new capabilities: the Laravel‑based backend was extended with additional and expanded APIs, after which the Vue.js front‑end was adapted accordingly. The third part describes testing of the new functionality and user interface, presents the results, and discusses how the upgrade enhances the efficiency of clubs whose fleets include electric aircraft. The testing results confirm that the new version of the application enables effective management of electric aircraft data and improves the user experience.
