Abstract:Teoretična izhodišča: Omejen obseg aktivnega in pasivnega gibanja ramenskega sklepa se imenuje zamrznjena rama oziroma. adhezivni kapsulitis. Glavni simptomi zamrznjene rame so intenzivna nočna bolečina skupaj z okorelostjo, ki prizadene večinoma nedominantno okončino. Zdravljenje je lahko operativno ali konzervativno. Ena od možnosti konzervativnega zdravljenja je fizioterapija s ciljem povrniti funkcionalnost sklepa, zmanjšati bolečino in preprečiti kapsularno kontrakturo. Namen: Namen diplomskega dela je s pomočjo znanstvene in strokovne literature raziskati in opredeliti učinke fizioterapije pri zdravljenju zamrznjene rame. Metode dela: Raziskave smo iskali v podatkovnih bazah PubMed, PEDro, Google Scholar in ScienceDirect. Uporabili smo naslednje ključne beside: »frozen shoulder«, »adhesive capsulitis«, »physical therapy« in »treatment«. Pri iskanju člankov smo v naprej določili vključitvene in izključitvene kriterije. Rezultati: V končno analizo smo vključili 8 randomiziranih kontroliranih raziskav ob upoštevanju vključitvenih in izključitvenih kriterijev. Razprava: Na osnovi rezultatov raziskav smo ugotovili, da so imele vse raziskave pozitivne učinke pri zdravljenju zamrznjene rame. Ugotovili smo pozitivne učinke na zmanjšanje bolečine, povečanje obsega gibljivosti, povečanje mišične moči, izboljšanje funkcionalnosti ramenskega sklepa in zmanjšanje invalidnosti.

Abstract:Theoretical background: Limited range of active and passive movement of the shoulder joint is called frozen shoulder or adhesive capsulitis. The main symptoms of frozen shoulder are intense night pain accompanied by stiffness, affecting mainly the non-dominant limb. Treatment can be either surgical or conservative. One of the conservative treatment options is physiotherapy with the aim of restoring the functionality of the joint, reducing pain and preventing capsular contracture. Purpose: The aim of this thesis is to investigate and define the effects of physiotherapy in the treatment of frozen shoulder using scientific and professional literature. Methods: We searched PubMed, PEDro, Google Scholar and ScienceDirect databases for the following keywords: »frozen shoulder«, »adhesive capsulitis«, »physical therapy« and »treatment«. We predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria for the search of articles. Results: 8 randomised controlled trials were included in the final analysis, taking into account the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Discussion: We found that all the studies had a positive effects on the treatment of frozen shoulder. We found positive effects on pain reduction, increased range of motion improving the functionality of the shoulder joint and reduced disability.
