Najprej so bili prestavljeni različni vidiki o migracijah teh ptic in vplivi, s katerimi se soočajo, saj so bile uporabljene v oblikovanju programa.

Title:Development of an application in the Java environment to track and simulate bird migrations
Abstract:In the creation of this Bachelor’s Thesis, a desktop program was developed, which uses real data to present migrations of a specific bird species and enables users to simulate the effects of global changes on the birds during migration. The theoretical part of the thesis goes over the subject that the program is based around on as well as the tools that were used to create the program. The various aspects relating to the migration of the birds and the influences they experience were first put into context, as they were used in the design of the program. The thesis establishes the connection of migration data and computer programs, specifically how it can be visualized to make it easier to understand the data. Lastly, the theoretical part goes on to explaining all of the tools that were used in the creation of the program and how they work. The empirical part of the thesis goes onto describe the creation of the program, going from the methods used and the design of the program to the actual implementation itself. All of this being based on the context established in the theoretical part. The empirical part showcases the creation and final result of the program through wireframes and images that accompany the text. Lastly, an evaluation of the final state of the program is presented and the improvements that could be made to it.
