Abstract:Diplomska naloga obravnava razvoj orodja za brizganje pokrova visokonapetostnega PTC- grelnika hladilne tekočine, kjer je bil cilj zagotoviti dimenzijsko skladnost in funkcionalnost izdelka v serijski proizvodnji. V okviru projekta so bile izvedene simulacije brizganja, analiza izdelave in sestavljanja (DFMA), reološka analiza ter izbira ustreznega polimera glede na mehanske in toplotne lastnosti. Konstrukcija in izdelava orodja sta bila dopolnjena s preizkusi na stroju, pri katerih so bile opravljene meritve in izvedene korekcije za odpravo deformacij in zvitosti izdelka. Rezultati meritev pred in po korekcijah potrjujejo, da optimizirano orodje omogoča stabilen proces in dosego zahtev naročnika. Naloga ponuja možnosti za nadaljnje izboljšave na področju razvoja orodij, optimizacije procesov in uporabe sodobnih materialov v avtomobilski industriji.

Title:DEVELOPMENT OF THE TOOL AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE MODEL OF THE HIGH-VOLTAGE PTC COOLANT HEATER COVER
Abstract:The thesis deals with the development of a tool for injection molding a cover for a high-voltage PTC-coolant heater, where the goal was to ensure dimensional consistency and functionality of the product in serial production. The project included injection molding simulations, fabrication and assembly analysis (DFMA), rheological analysis, and selection of the appropriate polymer based on mechanical and thermal properties. The design and manufacture of the tool were supplemented with machine tests, during which measurements were performed and corrections were made for the true deformation and curvature of the part. The results of the measurements before and after the corrections confirmed that the optimized tool enables a stable process and meets the client's requirements. The thesis offers opportunities for additional improvements in the field of tool development, process optimization, and the use of modern materials in the automotive industry.
