Abstract:
Paliativna oskrba je celostni pristop k obravnavi kronično in neozdravljivo bolnih, katerega cilj je izboljšanje kakovosti življenja pacientov in njihovih bližnjih. Ker se patronažna dejavnost izvaja v domačem okolju, kjer so potrebe pacientov in družin najizrazitejše, je bil izveden sistematični pregled literature z namenom raziskati njen pomen v paliativni oskrbi v obdobju 2017–2024.

Title:
PALLIATIVE CARE FOR CHRONICALLY AND INCURABLY ILL PATIENTS FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF COMMUNITY NURSING SERVICES
Abstract:
Palliative care is a holistic approach to managing chronically and terminally ill patients, aiming to improve the quality of life for both patients and their families. Since home nursing services are provided in the patient’s domestic environment, where patient and family needs are most pronounced, a systematic literature review was conducted to examine their role in palliative care during the period 2017–2024.
