Abstract:Pacienti z napredovano KOPB se srečujejo z zmanjšano telesno zmogljivost, težavami pri vsakodnevnih aktivnostih in slabo kakovostjo življenja. Čeprav bolezni ni mogoče popolnoma pozdraviti, lahko z ustreznim pristopom bistveno upočasnimo njen napredek. Zato si respiratorna združenja po svetu prizadevajo za preučitev alternativnih pristopov k PR, kot je telerehabilitacija, v prizadevanju za povečanje udeležbe in omogočanje dostopa do PR večjemu številu pacientov. Namen naloge je bil pregled literature o učinkovitosti telerehabilitacije v domačem okolju v primerjavi s standardnimi rehabilitacijskimi programi pri pacientih s KOPB.

Title:Effects of telerehabilitation in home based enviroment versus standard rehabili-tation programs with patients with COPD
Abstract:Patients with COPD face reduced pysical capacity, difficulties in daily activities and poor quality of life. Altough the disease cannot be completly cured its progression can be significantly. For this reason, respiratory associations worldwide are striving to explore alternative approaches to pulmonary rehabilitation such as telerehabilitation in an effort to increase participation and provide access to PR for larger number of patients. The aim of this paper was to review the literature on the effectiveness of home based telerehabilitation compared to standard rehabilitation programs for patients with COPD.
