Nekakovostni in slabi medosebni odnosi nemalokrat vodijo v konflikte, stres zaposlenih in slabšo kakovost oskrbe.

Title:The impact in interpersonal relationships in the team on the quality of health care
Abstract:Starting points: Interpersonal relationships within healthcare teams and the quality of communication are factors that can affect patient care quality significantly. Poor interpersonal relationships frequently lead to conflicts, employee stress, and diminished quality of care. This research aimed to examine how team interpersonal relationships impact healthcare quality in a clinical setting that will for the purpose of the research remain unidentified. Method: A quantitative study was conducted using an online survey method. The research included 91 nursing staff participants. Data were collected by means of a structured questionnaire and analysis was performed using IBM SPSS statistical software. Descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficients, and regression methods were employed for the data analysis. Results: The findings indicate that high-quality interpersonal relationships and effective communication both within the team and with management positively influence perceived patient care quality. The study identified several negative factors, including staff overload, personnel shortages, and unequal educational opportunities among employees – all of which impact interpersonal dynamics and communication within the team. Discussion: This study confirms the significance of interpersonal relationships and communication within the team for quality healthcare delivery. Interventions such as leadership enhancement, communication improvement, and the development of supportive and safe working environments are essential for increasing employee satisfaction and ensuring quality care for patients as end users. For a more comprehensive understanding of this issue, further research with a broader employee sample is recommended.
