| Abstract: | The purpose of the master's thesis is to explore the dynamics of the health care system in Slovenia and the legal regulation of health care. We study the methods and types of traditional, alternative, and complementary medicine (TACM) as well as their definitions investigate the presence of these treatment methods in Slovenia. We also examine the attitudes of health professionals towards these methods in foreign research. In the main research, we are interested in the attitudes of health professionals towards these treatment methods and their introduction into the public health system. We aim to determine what the attitudes of health professionals are towards these types of treatment methods and their acceptance and knowledge. The emphasis of the master's thesis is on the importance of healthcare professionals’ acceptance of TACM methods and on good cooperation between doctors and patients using these methods. Above all, it is important that patients are treated safely and comprehensively and discuss the use of TACM methods with their doctor without worrying about being refused. |
