Title:Fizioterapija v prevenciji distorzije gležnja pri nogometaših – pregled literature : diplomsko delo visokošolskega strokovnega študijskega programa prve bolonjske stopnje Fizioterapija

Abstract:Teoretična izhodišča: Distorzija gležnja predstavlja najpogostejšo mišično-skeletno poškodbo v nogometu, ki zaradi visoke stopnje ponovitev pogosto vodi v kronično nestabilnost in prezgodnji razvoj posttravmatskega osteoartritisa. Neustrezno obravnavani zvini povzročajo senzomotorne izpade, kar močno povečuje tveganje za ponovne poškodbe in dolgotrajno odsotnost z igrišč, to pa predstavlja tako zdravstveni kot ekonomski izziv. Namen: Na podlagi sistematičnega pregleda znanstvene literature smo ovrednotili pomen fizioterapevtskih intervencij v preventivnem procesu. Osredotočili smo se na učinkovitost nevromišične vadbe, proprioceptivnega treninga in uveljavljenih preventivnih protokolov za zmanjševanje incidence poškodb gležnja med nogometaši vseh starostnih kategorij in tekmovalnih nivojev. Rezultati: Ugotovili smo, da strukturirana vadba za ravnotežje in propriocepcijo značilno zmanjša tveganje za zvine gležnja, pri čemer so učinki najbolj izraziti pri igralcih z anamnezo poškodb. Programi, kot je FIFA 11+, dokazano zmanjšujejo skupno število poškodb spodnjih udov, medtem ko ciljna krepitev mišic evertorjev zagotavlja nujno dinamično stabilizacijo sklepa. Razprava: Uspešnost preventive je neposredno povezana s skladnostjo igralcev pri izvajanju vaj in neposrednim strokovnim nadzorom fizioterapevta. Za klinično prakso je ključno spoznanje, da mora biti preventivna vadba individualizirana, progresivna in integrirana v vsakodnevno ogrevanje. Posebno pozornost je treba nameniti pravilni tehniki gibanja in vključevanju vaj v stanju utrujenosti, saj s tem živčno-mišični sistem pripravimo na realne tekmovalne pogoje.

Abstract:Theoretical background: Ankle sprains represent the most common musculoskeletal injury in soccer, with high recurrence rates often leading to chronic instability and early development of post-traumatic osteoarthritis. Inadequately managed sprains cause sensorimotor deficits, significantly increasing the risk of re-injury and prolonged absence from play, posing both health and economic challenges. Aim: Based on a systematic review of scientific literature, we evaluated the importance of physiotherapeutic interventions in the preventive process. We focused on the effectiveness of neuromuscular training, proprioceptive exercises, and established preventive protocols in reducing the incidence of ankle injuries among soccer players across all age categories and competitive levels. Results: We found that structured balance and proprioceptive training significantly reduces the risk of ankle sprains, with effects being most pronounced in players with a history of previous injuries. Programs such as FIFA 11+ have demonstrated effectiveness in reducing overall lower limb injuries, while targeted strengthening of evertor muscles provides essential dynamic joint stabilization. Discussion: The success of prevention is directly linked to player compliance with exercise protocols and direct professional supervision by a physiotherapist. A key finding for clinical practice is that preventive training must be individualized, progressive, and integrated into daily warm-up routines. Particular attention should be given to proper movement technique and incorporating exercises under fatigue conditions, as this prepares the neuromuscular system for realistic competitive demands.
