Abstract:Diplomska naloga opisuje načrt in razvoj sodobne spletne platforme TradeMyBook, namenjene izmenjavi knjig, s poudarkom na kakovostni uporabniški izkušnji in napredni tehnološki zasnovi. Opravljena je bila analiza obstoječih platform za izmenjavo knjig, ki so bile ovrednotene na podlagi kvalitete uporabniške izkušnje in uporabniškega vmesnika. Analiza je identificirala pomanjkljivosti, kot so kompleksni uporabniški vmesniki, omejene funkcionalnosti iskanja knjig, pomanjkanje sistema za ocenjevanje uporabnikov, slaba prilagodljivost za mobilne naprave in neustrezna dostopnost za uporabnike s posebnimi potrebami. Na podlagi te analize je platforma TradeMyBook vizualno preprosta, dosledna in dostopna tudi uporabnikom z različnimi potrebami. Dokument vsebuje načrte za izdelavo uporabniškega vmesnika. Načrti za izdelavo uporabniškega vmesnika so bili narejeni z orodjem Miro. Uporabniški vmesnik je bil programiran v jeziku TypeScript, z uporabo ogrodja React. Zaledni sistem temelji na okolju Node.js. Baza podatkov pa je implementirana na sistemu PostgreSQL. Rezultati projekta vključujejo funkcionalno in estetsko dovršeno platformo, ki omogoča ključne funkcionalnosti. Platforma izstopa po dostopnosti, odzivnosti in uporabniški prijaznosti. Zaključno delo uspešno izpolnjuje zastavljene cilje in ponuja platformo, ki spodbuja trajnostno izmenjavo knjig ter predstavlja pomemben prispevek k digitalnim rešitvam na tem področju.

Abstract:The thesis describes the design and development of the modern web platform TradeMyBook, aimed at book exchange, with a focus on high-quality user experience and advanced technological design. An analysis of existing book exchange platforms was conducted, evaluating them based on the quality of user experience and user interface. The analysis identified shortcomings such as complex user interfaces, limited book search functionalities, lack of user rating systems, poor mobile adaptability, and inadequate accessibility for users with diverse needs. Based on this analysis, the TradeMyBook platform is designed to be visually simple, consistent, and accessible to users with varying requirements. The document includes plans for the development of the user interface. These plans were created using the Miro tool. The user interface was programmed in TypeScript, utilizing the React framework. The backend system is built on Node.js, while the database is implemented using PostgreSQL. The project results include a functional and aesthetically refined platform that provides key functionalities. The platform stands out for its accessibility, responsiveness, and user-friendliness. The final work successfully meets the set objectives and offers a platform that promotes sustainable book exchange, making a significant contribution to digital solutions in this field.
