Abstract:Proces predaje pacienta med ekipo nujne medicinske pomoči in urgentnim centrom je ključen za zagotavljanje kakovostne in varne obravnave pacientov.

Title:Patient handover between emergency medical team and emergency center from the perspective of quality and safe treatment
Abstract:The process of patient handover between the emergency medical services (EMS) team and the emergency center is crucial for ensuring high-quality and safe patient care. Inadequate communication, incomplete documentation, and incorrect patient identification pose significant risks to patient safety. The aim of the study was to examine what information and documentation are included in the handover and how accurate information transfer and safe patient identification are ensured. Particular attention is paid to communication barriers that may affect the handover process and patient safety. The aim of the study is to determine how employees assess the consistency of documentation and the organization of the procedure, and where they see opportunities for improving the quality and safety of patient handover to the emergency center.
