Abstract:Teoretična izhodišča: Ramenske patologije sodijo med pogostejše mišično-skeletne težave in pomembno vplivajo na kakovost življenja zaradi bolečine, omejene gibljivosti in zmanjšane funkcionalnosti. Zdraviliška rehabilitacija, ki vključuje fizioterapevtske postopke, kinezioterapijo in hidroterapijo, predstavlja celostni rehabilitacijski pristop. Pred zaključeno rehabilitacijo in po njej so bile izvedene meritve aktivnega in pasivnega obsega gibljivosti ramenskega sklepa, ocena intenzivnosti bolečine z VAS lestvico in funkcionalna ocena z vprašalnikom UCLA Shoulder Rating Scale. Podatki so bili analizirani z uporabo deskriptivnih in inferenčnih statističnih metod.

Abstract:Theoretical background: Shoulder pathologies are among the most common musculoskeletal disorders and significantly affect quality of life due to pain, limited range of motion and reduced function. Spa rehabilitation, combining physiotherapy, kinesiotherapy and hydrotherapy, represents a comprehensive rehabilitation approach The aim of the study was to evaluate the effects of spa rehabilitation on shoulder joint mobility, pain intensity and functional outcomes in patients with various shoulder disorders. Methods: The study included 289 patients. Active and passive range of motion of the shoulder joint was assessed before and after rehabilitation. Pain intensity was evaluated using the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and functional outcomes were measured with the UCLA Soulder Rating Scale. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods. Results: The demonstrated statistically significant improvements in range of motion, a reduction in pain intensity and enhanced shoulder function following spa rehabiltiation (p < 0,05). The greatest improvements were observed in anteflexion and abduction, with significant gains also noted in internal and external rotation. Functional outcomes improved across all subscales of the UCLA questionnaire. Discussion: TThe findings confirm the effectiveness of spa rehabilitation in the management of shoulder disorders and support its role as an important component of comprehensive shoulder rehabilitation.
