Abstract:Cerebralna paraliza (CP) je najpogostejši vzrok trajne gibalne oviranosti v otroštvu. Med najpogostejše motorične primanjkljaje pri tej populaciji spadajo motnje ravnotežja in nadzora drže, ki pomembno vplivajo na funkcionalno mobilnost, samostojnost in kakovost življenja otrok. V sodobni nevrofizioterapevtski obravnavi se vse pogosteje uporablja navidezna resničnost (VR), ki omogoča izvajanje funkcionalnih gibalnih nalog v interaktivnem in motivacijskem okolju. Namen diplomskega dela je bil raziskati kratkoročno učinkovitost uporabe navidezne resničnosti v nevrofizioterapiji na izboljšanje funkcije ravnotežja pri otrocih s cerebralno paralizo. Literaturo smo iskali v podatkovnih bazah PubMed, PEDro in Scopus z uporabo vnaprej določenih ključnih besed, Boolovih operaterjev in terminov MeSH. V pregled literature smo vključili sedem raziskav, od tega štiri randomizirane kontrolirane raziskave, dve dvojnosklepni randomizirani kontrolirani raziskavi in eno nerandomizirano kontrolirano raziskavo. Kakovost raziskav je bila ocenjena z lestvico PEDro in z merili SURE. V raziskave je bilo skupno vključenih 241 otrok s cerebralno paralizo, starih od štiri do 18 let, terapevtski programi pa so trajali od štiri do 12 tednov. Pregled literature dosledno potrjuje, da uporaba navidezne resničnosti pozitivno vpliva na ravnotežje otrok s cerebralno paralizo, kar se kaže v statistično pomembnih izboljšavah predvsem v eksperimentalnih skupinah.

Abstract:Cerebral palsy (CP) is the most common cause of permanent physical disability in childhood. Among the most common motor deficits in this population are balance and postural control disorders, which significantly impact children’s functional mobility, independence, and quality of life. Virtual reality (VR) is increasingly being used in modern neurophysiotherapy, as it enables the performance of functional motor tasks in an interactive and motivating environment. The aim of this thesis was to investigate the short-term effectiveness of using virtual reality in neurophysiotherapy to improve balance function in children with cerebral palsy. We searched the literature in the PubMed, PEDro, and Scopus databases using predefined keywords, Boolean operators, and MeSH terms. We included seven studies in the literature review, including four randomized controlled trials, two double-blind randomized controlled trials, and one non-randomized controlled trial. The quality of the studies was assessed using the PEDro scale and SURE criteria. A total of 241 children with cerebral palsy, aged 4 to 18 years, were included in the studies, and the therapeutic programs lasted 4 to 12 weeks. The literature review consistently confirms that the use of virtual reality has a positive effect on the balance of children with cerebral palsy, as evidenced by statistically significant improvements, particularly in the experimental groups.
