Title:Fizioterapevtska obravnava poškodb gležnja pri profesionalnih deskarjih na snegu in vrnitev v šport – pregled literature : diplomsko delo visokošolskega strokovnega študijskega programa prve bolonjske stopnje Fizioterapija

Abstract:Uvod: Profesionalni deskarji na snegu so zaradi velikih obremenitev pri skokih in doskokih izpostavljeni visokemu tveganju za poškodbe gležnja. Namen diplomskega dela je raziskati najučinkovitejše fizioterapevtske pristope pri obravnavi teh poškodb ter opredeliti kriterije za varno vrnitev v šport. Metode: Uporabljen je bil kvalitativni pristop s pregledom znanstvene in strokovne literature po smernicah PRISMA. Iskanje je bilo izvedeno v podatkovnih bazah PubMed, ScienceDirect, PEDro, ProQuest in Google Scholar. Po uporabi vključitvenih in izključitvenih kriterijev je bilo v končno analizo vključenih petnajst raziskav, ki smo jih obdelali z metodama komparacije in sinteze. Rezultati: Rehabilitacija je strukturirana v štiri faze: akutno, subakutno, funkcionalno in pozno fazo vrnitve v šport. V akutni fazi je najučinkovitejša zgodnja funkcionalna obravnava z nadzorovano mobilizacijo, v srednjih fazah proprioceptivni in nevromišični trening, v pozni fazi pa pliometrična in hop-stabilizacijska vadba s športno-specifičnimi nalogami. Pri odločanju o vrnitvi v šport se uporabljajo funkcionalni testi in vprašalnika FAAM in ALR-RSI. V literaturi je opazen primanjkljaj raziskav na populaciji profesionalnih deskarjev. Zaključek: Fizioterapevtska obravnava poškodb gležnja pri profesionalnih deskarjih mora biti strukturirana, fazna in individualizirana. Vrnitev v šport mora temeljiti na kombinaciji funkcionalnih kazalnikov, vprašalnikov in psihološke pripravljenosti. Pomanjkanje raziskav na deskarski populaciji opozarja na potrebo po nadaljnjih kliničnih raziskavah.

Abstract:Introduction: Professional snowboarders are exposed to a high risk of musculoskeletal injuries due to high loads during jumps and landings, among which ankle injuries are the most common. The aim of this thesis is to investigate the most effective physiotherapeutic approaches to managing these injuries and to define the criteria for a safe return to sport. Methods: A qualitative approach was used, based on a review of scientific and professional literature conducted in accordance with the PRISMA guidelines. The search was performed in the PubMed, ScienceDirect, PEDro, ProQuest and Google Scholar databases. After applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria, fifteen studies were included in the final analysis and analysed using comparison and synthesis. Results: Rehabilitation of ankle injuries is structured into four phases: acute, subacute, functional, and late return-to-sport phases. In the acute phase, early functional treatment with controlled mobilization is most effective; in the intermediate phases, proprioceptive and neuromuscular training are emphasized; in the late phase, plyometric and hop-stabilization training and sport-specific tasks are central. Decisions regarding return to sport are based on functional tests and the FAAM and ALR-RSI self-reported questionnaires. The literature shows a noticeable lack of studies conducted directly on professional snowboarders. Conclusion: Physiotherapeutic management of ankle injuries in professional snowboarders should be structured, phased and individualized. Return to sport should be based on a combination of functional indicators, self-reported measures and psychological readiness, not solely on time elapsed since injury. The lack of research on snowboarders highlights the need for further targeted clinical studies.
