Abstract:Naloga obravnava kibernetsko varnost v oblačnih okoljih ter analizira ključne grožnje in preventivne ukrepe z uporabo okvira NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF). V teoretičnem delu so predstavljena osnovna načela oblačnega računalništva, modeli storitev ter varnostne značilnosti, vključno z modelom deljene odgovornosti.

Abstract:The thesis addresses cybersecurity in cloud environments, analyzing key threats and preventive measures using the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF). The theoretical part presents fundamental cloud computing principles, service models, and security features, including the shared responsibility model, while the empirical part examines selected cybersecurity incidents, focusing on their causes, progression, and control deficiencies. The findings are linked to the five NIST CSF functions (Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, Recover). The results show that misconfigurations, inadequate identity and access management, and human factors are among the most common causes of incidents. The thesis concludes that consistent application of the NIST CSF significantly improves risk management and incident prevention and response.
