Title:Vplivi aerobne vadbe na odrasle osebe s prekomerno telesno težo in debelostjo

Abstract:Uvod in namen: Namen diplomske naloge je sistematično pregledati literaturo o vplivu aerobne vadbe (v nadaljevanju AT) na osebe s prekomerno telesno težo in debelostjo ter podati najprimernejšo vrsto AT za zmanjšanje telesne teže, vplive AT na človeško telo ter opredeliti količino in frekvenco vadbe za izgubo telesne teže. Metode: V končni pregled literature je bilo upoštevanih osem študij, ki so v večini vključile več kot 100 odraslih preiskovancev med 18 in 70 let s prekomerno telesno težo. Ena izmed intervencijskih skupin je vključevala AT, ki so trajale od 12 tednov do osem mesecev. Rezultati: AT je verjetno najbolj optimalen način vadbe za izgubo telesne teže in maščobne mase za odrasle s prekomerno telesno težo in debelostjo. Večja intenzivnost AT lahko prispeva k izboljšanju aerobne zmogljivosti pri odraslih osebah s prekomerno telesno težo in debelostjo. Uporabnost: Na podlagi rezultatov naše raziskave lahko fizioterapevt kakovostno sestavi optimalen načrt obravnave ali pa izbrane ugotovitve s strokovnim svetovanjem prenese na stranke ter posledično pripomore h kakovostnejšemu življenjskemu slogu odrasle populacije. Omejitve: Glavni omejitvi študije sta ozek izbor vključenih študij in osredotočenost le ne prekomerno telesno težo.

Title:Effects of aerobic exercise on overweight adults
Abstract:Introduction and purpose: The purpose of the thesis is to systematically review the literature on the effects of aerobic exercise (AE) on overweight and obese people and to give the most appropriate type of AE for weight loss, the effects of AE on the human body and to determine the amount and frequency of exercise for weight loss. Methods: The final literature review included 8 studies, most of which included more than 100 adult subjects, between 18 and 70 years of age who were overweight. One of the intervention groups included AE, that lasted from 12 weeks to 8 months. Results: AE is probably the most optimal way of exercise for weight loss and fat mass loss in overweight or obesity adults. Increased AE intensity may contribute to improved aerobic capacity in overweight and obese adults. Usability: Based on the results of our research, a physiotherapist can make an optimal treatment plan or transfer our findings to clients with professional advice and consequently contribute to a better lifestyle of the adult population. Limitations: The main limitations of the study are the narrow selection of studies included and the focus only on body weight.
