Program prilagojene judo vadbe za preprečevanje padcev starejših odraslih – »Padem in Vstanem« : magistrsko delo študijskega programa druge bolonjske stopnje Zdravstvene vedeBenjamin Oblak, 2025, master's thesis Abstract: Razvili smo prilagojen judo program »Padem in vstanem«, ki povezuje ukemi z vadbo ravnotežja in moči, z namenom zmanjšanja tveganja za padce, poškodbe in strah pred padcem pri starejših, ki zaznamujejo resen javnozdravstveni problem. Sistematični pregled po smernicah PRISMA (iskanje 15. 2. 2025; Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, Cochrane Library, Europe PMC, PubMed) je vključil osem študij (2018–2024; n = 424). Sinteza ugotovitev dosledno kaže na zmanjšanje strahu pred padcem ter pogosto izboljšano mobilnost, medtem ko so učinki na ravnotežje bolj spremenljivi; skupna gotovost dokazov po GRADE je nizka do zelo nizka. Na osnovi sinteze smo oblikovali osemtedenski program (2-krat tedensko, 60 min) s postopno vertikalno progresijo ukemi, standardiziranimi izidi (FES-I, TUG, BBS) in celostnim paketom za judo klube. Anketa slovenskih judo trenerjev (avg.–sep. 2025; n = 5) nakazuje visoko izvedljivost in varnost (4/5), zmerno koristnost (3/5), nižjo pripravljenost za sodelovanje (2/5) ter primerno možnost uvedbe kot storitve (4/5); vendar zaradi izjemno nizke odzivnosti gre za pilotske ugotovitve. Priporočamo postopno, nadzorovano uvedbo po predhodnem presejanju (PAR-Q+, ACSM/STEADI) in sprotnem spremljanju izidov. Sledijo lahko večji pilotski in primerjalni projekti v zainteresiranih judo klubih pod nadzorom strokovnjakov.

Towards journalism culture : a systematic literature review of journalist values in contemporary mediaTamara Besednjak Valič, Janja Lozar, 2026, independent scientific component part or a chapter in a monograph Abstract: This chapter investigates the intersection of journalism’s values, the role of objectivity and trust and the role of journalists in contemporary society, focusing on the years between 2017 and 2023. By narrowing our gaze to English-language scientific publications, we analyse the topics of objectivity in journalism, the role of Journalists and their position within different power relations, among others. As we scrutinise this dynamic landscape, our research, adopting the systematic literature review method, aims to synthesise existing knowledge and contribute to the ongoing discourse on journalists’ value and role in journalism in society, offering insights relevant to scholars, practitioners and enthusiasts alike. Through a comprehensive analysis, we provide a thorough understanding of how journalist values and culture are conceptualised and navigated within the multifaceted realm of contemporary journalist studies.

Industrial symbiosis as a circular economy approach and digital innovation are now tangible and unstoppable realities that profoundly affect every sector of our society, while social media and the web serve as crucial and indispensable platforms for dissemination. This is like a stage and a privileged forum from which to observe, understand and attempt to change the complexity of reality. This combination is particularly relevant for the new generations. Social networks are integral to companies’ and brands’ new communication and sustainable development models. This chapter discusses industrial symbiosis, a collaborative concept where industries share resources and waste. Simultaneously, it explores how the changing role of social media aligns with these principles, promoting a more responsible and aware approach to development and communication.

Media/Digital Literacy, Access to Information and European Democracy in the Light of Information and Communication Technology AdaptationAlenka Pandiloska Jurak, 2026, independent scientific component part or a chapter in a monograph Abstract: Access to information is strongly related to forming personal/social opinions, one of the critical building blocks of democratic governance, while access to information is also crucially linked to media literacy, which affects the separation between quality, reliable information and misleading information. In the dissemination of information and communication with state authorities and other stakeholders, the use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is also essential. However, the availability and usage of those technologies differ among the EU macro-regions. This article shows the foundations of adopting ICT technologies in European macro-regions. It reviews data on how many people do not use a computer and how much they use ICT to communicate with public authorities. The data used in the research covers the years between 2008 and 2021, with which we will try to determine if there are changes in this topic.

Media, Populism and European Democracy2026, scientific monograph Abstract: The book offers insight into different relevant issues related to recent developments in the political and media space in Europe. The authors are interested in how these phenomena affect the future of the democratic system and the general development of the European Union. The special focus is on populism as one of the most discussed political phenomena in recent years. The assumption is that the rise of populism in Europe is a reaction to the anomalies and consequences of globalisation as well as a symptom of the crisis of established politics. Furthermore, the spread of populist messages is related to the profound change the media space is facing, particularly with the crisis of traditional media. Populists utilise different media channels that often serve to spread disinformation. Strengthening European democracy requires improving institutional effectiveness, responsiveness and accountability toward the citizenry, as well as building a European identity.

Mass Media and the Rise of PopulismMatevž Tomšič, 2026, independent scientific component part or a chapter in a monograph Abstract: This chapter examines the role of the media in the rise of populism in contemporary European democracies. In doing so, it highlights the characteristics of populist politics, particularly in terms of how its messages are disseminated and the mechanisms it employs. It also analyses the changing nature of media in interdependence with other social changes. One can assume that the influence of the media on the spread of a certain—in this case, populist—type of political message depends on the broader political constellation and the political impulses to which people are exposed. It can be claimed that although the media undoubtedly influence the spread of populist messages, they are not the ones who either enable or prevent the success of populist protagonists. A lot depends on their rivals from the ranks of established politics.

Učinkovito upravljanje s kadri : talent managementTadej Janžič, 2026, undergraduate thesis Abstract: V magistrskem delu obravnavamo učinkovito upravljanje in vodenje talentov v sektorjih trgovine in gostinstva s poudarkom na pridobivanju, zadrževanju in motiviranju zaposlenih. Osrednji cilj je raziskati, kako lahko podjetja ustvarijo delovno okolje, kjer se talenti počutijo cenjene, motivirane in povezane z vrednotami podjetja, in kako lahko vodje učinkovito usmerjajo zaposlene k doseganju strateških ciljev. Delo temelji na teoretičnih izhodiščih ter na kvalitativni raziskavi z intervjuji zaposlenih in vodij.
Raziskavo smo izvedli s polstrukturiranimi intervjuji s petimi talenti in dvema vodjema, ki vodita talente v proučevanem podjetju. Ugotovili smo, da je iskanje in pridobivanje talentov prek zaposlitvenih portalov, družbenih omrežij in zaposlitvenih sejmov učinkovita strategija podjetja za pridobivanje kadrov. Podjetje talentom omogoča stalno učenje, kar predstavlja najpogostejši pristop k njihovemu zadrževanju, saj se tako počutijo cenjene, motivirane in zavezane podjetju.
Pri preučevanju znanj vodij, ki usmerjajo talente, smo zaznali, da intervjuvanci najpogosteje izpostavljajo njihove dobro razvite komunikacijske spretnosti. Najpogosteje predlagani ukrep intervjuvancev, s katerim bi lahko izboljšali kadrovske prakse za upravljanje talentov, je, da podjetje zagotovi vodje, ki so sposobni navdihovati in voditi talente za doseganje njihovih ciljev. Na podlagi ugotovitev raziskave smo podali smernice za razvoj boljših kadrovskih praks za upravljanje s talenti in prispevali k izboljšanju kadrovskih praks.

Pomen ustne higiene pri bolnikih po možganski kapi : diplomsko delo visokošolskega strokovnega študijskega programa prve bolonjske stopnje Zdravstvena negaPolona Marčinko, 2025, undergraduate thesis Abstract: Uvod: Možganska kap je eden vodilnih vzrokov invalidnosti in smrti, pri čemer so zapleti, kot je aspiracijska pljučnica, pogost vzrok podaljšane hospitalizacije in povečane umrljivosti. Ustrezna ustna higiena, ki jo izvaja usposobljeno zdravstveno osebje, lahko pomembno zmanjša tveganje za te zaplete. Metode: Izveden je bil sistematični pregled literature zadnjih desetih let, v katerem so bile analizirane raziskave o vplivu ustne higiene na pojavnost pljučnice pri bolnikih po možganski kapi ter o povezavi med motnjami požiranja in nastankom pljučnice. Vključene so bile študije različnih metodoloških zasnov in hierarhij dokazov. Rezultati: Analiza je pokazala, da redna, strukturirana in strokovno izvedena ustna nega pomembno zmanjša pojavnost aspiracijske pljučnice, izboljša ustno zdravje ter ugodno vpliva na kakovost življenja bolnikov po možganski kapi. Pri bolnikih z disfagijo je tveganje za pljučnico večje, ustna higiena pa predstavlja ključen spremenljiv dejavnik tveganja. Učinkovitost je večja, kadar se izvaja po standardiziranih protokolih in z uporabo antiseptikov. Zaključek: Rezultati potrjujejo potrebo po uvedbi enotnih protokolov ustne nege, stalnem usposabljanju medicinskih sester ter multidisciplinarnem pristopu k obravnavi bolnikov po možganski kapi. Nadaljnje raziskave bi morale obravnavati dolgoročne učinke ustne higiene in njen vpliv na stroške zdravstvene obravnave.
